Better don't cut the resolution of the monitor as the gpu is perfect playing games at 1080P. Cutting to 8GB , should get the Sapphire R9-280X 3GB OC -RM1099.

If you have the extra cash, get the vapor-x or the toxic edition instead

Looking to get a new rig for Xmas. Budget is around Rm3k.

Will require everything from a screen and up, except the Gpu as I'm planning to use the Gtx770 from my old rig. Any suggestions is really helpful. Will probably be OCing.

If you wanna save more, for the case you can get CM 120 Advanced instead which comes with white color option too-RM150 . Though I like the prodigy design rather than the boxy cm 120

Looks like none would work though.... The first build has an underpowered GPU, and the second build has an overpriced board... The RAMs will bottleneck the internal GPU pretty significantly as well....
