Budget= RM4k

Purpose= workstation

Hardwares that will be re-use= nope

Games & softwares that use frequently= Solidworks 3D CAD

Personal preferences= i5 processor, 6gb RAM and quadcore graphic card (can give me other options)

This rig okay? Around my budget 3k to 3.5k.

so, GTX750 ti already available. read reviews, seems that GTX650 ti Boost n of course GTX660 is better in performance. so, who is the target markets? saw the price, not actually cheaper though

Anybody here uses PCE WiFi cards or USB WiFi adaptors? Wanna ask around and see if any of you have felt issues like frequent disconnections.

Go for SB-E i think would be a better option since there's no gaming involved..

as cable707 suggested can get the Sandy Bridge -E processor instead of the xeon as it has 6 cores instead of the xeon 4 cores. Though the mobo LGA 2011 its a bit on the steep side. Couldn't find a new sandy bridge-e processor as now they have replace it with Ivy Bridge-E instead. Though in garage sales you can find a number of sellers selling used i7-3930K , You can have a look there.

Cheapest Sapphire HD 7790 costs RM449 for the normal version, RM479 for the OC version. I would suggest to just save some bucks and just go with MSI HD 7790.

[Budget] - around 1k to 1.5k (would be great if can fit in a new monitor)
