I got heaps of email from agent requiring 3.4 insp around the globe every now and then. Guess must be the OnG hunting season. Well i will said it depends on yo connection and good port folio with one oil company. It's not hard to fill up the 150 days offshore in a year in this field. Perhaps I'm just lucky. biggrin.gif

Job Title : SAP SD Lead
Job Desciption : SAP SD Functional
Years spent in company : 3
Company : GLC
Industry : IT
Employment Level : Manager
Experience before joining : 16 yrs in Supply Chain
Highest paper qualification/ education background : MBA, and SAP global cert
salary : RM 8.7k

If any of you tell me that I'm UNDERpaid... I will start looking for other job now. I mean... I leave soon I've completed my GST project. And can anybody tell me what is the market salary for ppl with similar experience... when I asked for a pay rise, my boss will always say "bersyukur la, there were many unfortunate ppl yg gaji rendah from you", can't stand it anymore, my takehome pay is devalued with all the consumer price hike.

bersyukur rite?

feel like stagnant now... 2 ppl came in later than me one bcome team lead liao, the other going for business trip this July (i work here longest oso have not go on a BT). sad.gif

hopefully can move on this year.. sometimes it's not just about the salary.

If I stagnant like this for the next 10 years getting increment of 100 a year say... compare to if I go up the ladder in a company reaching 7-8k pay in the next 10 years.. which would u choose? Sure the latter.

Most of the times doing data entry like app requests, new hires and terminations.. (yes the last 2 is manual job). Really sien liao.

I just don't want to die doing the same job. I was doing Computer Science during my college years.
My first and 2nd year of working I do configuration. My boss loves me so much I guess, when he changed his job scope, he took me with him. I didn't change job to do what I like... I am trained to love what I do.

Supply Chain was fun... you dealt with oversea counterpart most of the time. Work in different time zone depending which country you dealt with. Stay up all night because you having conference call (Webex) with US rep and etc. Too much fun is bad for family relationship, I don't want to give up on my job really, but my children want me to stop having meeting at home.

When you age... you priorities changed and so do I.

But one thing for sure is, I love SAP, it's a complex system and that what makes it interesting. I learn many new thing everyday. Though, I'm a bit too old to sit for the SAP cert, I do it because GLC requires professional cert in order for you to do project in SAP (but they didn't pay for the course, but I took MyProCert).

I knew SAP knowledge is a lucrative business when I saw the consultant PO value in the system.
It's about time for me to move on since I'm not getting any younger smile.gif
