hi guys, is it possible to ask for more pay after get offer letter?

coz i simply put a figure, and they seems have no problem with it...

and now i think its too low..as my current pay got increase after i go interview.. so the raise is based on my old pay with new co..

and also, how to calculate if we get 2 months contractual bonus yearly, is it our pay rise should be from 12 or 14 months?

enlighten pls.

Job Title : Team Manager (some sort of technical lead)
Job Description : Overseeing I.T Projects, damage control for 911 cases & sometime even have to do technical hands-on though I'm not younger any more sad.gif
Years spent in company : almost 7 years
Company : Local Company
Industry : System Integrator (I.T)
Tenure : Permanent
Employment Level : Senior
Experience before joining : 3 years in I.T & 3 years in accounting
Highest paper qualification/ education background : SPM
salary : RM9k-RM12k

Just wondering any other S.I company would be willing to pay higher salary?
*
Any particular reason why you would want to stay in S.I business?

Why not principal level?

cheers.gif

Tenure : Permanent
Employment Level : Mid-Level
Experience before joining : 6 years
Highest paper qualification/ education background : MBA (Grad 2013) & Mechanical Engineering Degree (Grad 2007)
salary : RM7.6k
I'm not sure whether my salary is within O&G salary range with 7 years experience. I was thinking to utilize my MBA to change industry to financial institution. Would it be worthwhile to change or should I stay within O&G industry & continue engineering job?

Just like what many had said, follow your heart and your interest and the rest will follow you too.

or you can be someone with 10 years of experience doing the same thing or someone else with 10 years of experience but doing a whole lot more different things altogether - which adds up to your CV quality.

in the noon time since its lunch and not busy, MTs are less in demand so they are paid roughly 1 lunch a day plus free iced tea

but if MTs work the whole day instead of a particular segment in a day, its roughly 2.2k up till 3.2k depending on your face (face problem 2.2k, good face maybe more, best face 3.2k) but its variable, sometimes if you go into the right industry its better blush.gif

its always good to at least spend 2 years doing it, then review your experience with
1. yourself internally (what have you achieved, what have you learnt, who have you met, who can help you)
2. your boss
3. your close confidante

I noticed the same thing, too. I get appreciated much better when working in California or Germany compared to working in Singapore. Although I think it depends more on who I work with rather than where I'm working at.

Have you ask yourself; what are you doing wrong in getting such salary as Operation Exec (Sr. Exec)? I can't believe top 5 logistics company in Malaysia paying that range. Even 3PLs are getting more much.

Something/Somehow must be wrong with yourself. Attendance, attitude, etc?

Your experience also sounds weird. What is your experience in Logistics alone? Don't sum all non-related into one pool.

Civil aviation, yes. Unfortunately, I'm in military aviation. But that's MRO.
If you're talking about design, I'm not sure. I've got some batchmates working in aero design and they complain about their salary too.
