Cool.. But why almost all the employers is refer to last draw salary to make decisions? >.<

Is like buying vege actually. If you are uncomfortable with disclosing your last drawn salary to your potential employer, then might as well look for other jobs. Or you can do like what Salary did, show after all confirm.

Off topic, anyone working as a marketing in medical field?

because it's part of HR's KPI to always offer no more than 20% of your last drawn

Not more than 20% is typical company's style. If you are good enough and know what you are doing, why not?

I had gotten offer of 25% increase before, but I never accept the job because I did not want to follow a specific gender manager. tongue.gif

well usually in big corps, hiring manager and HR are at opposing sides, HR even have the tendency to bully junior managers such as AM by lowballing the package

unless your hiring manager is of VP or general manager rank, otherwise they won't risk tearing face with HR for measly execs offer

Not sure if trolling. There are too many over there in kopitiam. Maybe spillover here.
Sorry if you are serious. I don't think I am the only guy here who thinks you are joking.

Last time feel bored at work place because of change of new management.

Then i think either start looking a new jobs or helping my wife with her business. Driving van sending business goods.

If in 1 year cannot survive, ill look for a proper job.

Not everyone, these can be the exceptions. I do mortgage, and even my clients have normal salary given their age. You have to understand that there is an element of pride when posting here, those with high salary given their age tend to like posting here, perhaps for a feel-good factor?

Not criticizing anyone, everyone is free to do what they want, but thought I'd give my 2 cents.

Hi I'm curious what is your definition of a normal salary?

Perhaps u can give us a rough range of salary and age? Ie age 26 average around 5k for example.

You would have lots of salary data given your job role

Glad you asked. But I can't say for sure, because what I am going to tell you is definitely NOT the average salary given ANY age range.

Why? because the clients that I get to see are the ones who have already set their minds to buy a property, they somewhat already know their abilities to buy a house, and my job is simply to do the final consultation and facilitate the loan application.

Typically,

Below 25, below RM4k/m
From 25 to 28, usually from 4k/m (lowest end) to 8k/m
29 to 35, 8k and above

Typically, the ones who are on the higher ends are:
1. PILOTS!
2. Oil and gas
3. Auditors
4. IT

If you are above these numbers, you are considered doing good already for your age.

35 and above and the numbers are mixed, I have to admit, I dont get too many older clients too - perhaps something to do about this internet age? haha

Here's the thing about pilots. There is a wide gap between younger pilots (below 30, RM15k/m) and older ones (35++, RM45k/m) <--- sample taken from MAS pilots.
