Whats the different between Original Malaysia with Korea?
*
I guess:

RM1000 local - buatan M'sia, not specific design for NAZA/KIA
RM1300 original made in Malaysia - buantan M'sia for NAZA/KIA
RM1600 original made in Korea - buantan Korea, import masuk for KIA

related; was told they only diff between local made and local kia, is the kia stamp on the glass, ie. paying for the logo on it
which made me think if the workshop charged you for an imported and fitted in a local, how are the typicl consumers gona verify it

Hi, thanks epo. I bought a new one for 270.

Our forte dashboard and gear's black gloss panels are easily scratched when wiping and swirl marks are visible on mine. Has anyone tried any method to polish the swirl marks away and how effective was it?

the only real different about the windscreen as the Kia staff said that's the Korean made are prone to crack due to our hotter weather. she suggested to me to go for original made in Malaysia so I asked what's the different compared to local then? no exact answer but the quality could be lower :hmmm:

the crack on my windscreen pattern was almost the same as my cousin-in-law forte lol

Guys,

Need your advice here.

i have just passed my 3rd service, i.e. 1 year.

Should I go back to the Kia SC to service my car or can I just go to normal workshop?

Also, can i use lower grade oil rather than the expensive premium used by SC?

Thanks alot.

how long is your warranty? mine is 5 years and i think i am going to 'stick' with Kia SC for at least 2 years.

i don't have the list but i know that for less than 2 years or below than 40,000km, i can still claim for:
1. absorbers/ suspensions system - both my rear suspensions testing result < 42% and can go for warranty
2. audio unit/ electrical system - mine still no problem

recently my right-rear wheel speed sensor is mulfuntioned which leads to ABS and ESP indicator to illuminate all the time. lucky it's still covered in warranty and currently i am waiting for the parts to arrived.

the 4th service at KIA SC is going to be costly and my ODO now already around 36,200km after 1 year and 6 months usage sweat.gif

not sure about using lower grade oil but i hope i can always give the best quality for my forte wub.gif
