hye guys..i just brought an used 2011 forte 1.6 EX. after inspection by my pomen. he said the car has been involved in accident on front right side. because the was a "ketuk" mark at the right fairing but nothing major on the engine and the frame. the condition still good. so i just suspect the collision was not so great. so, here's my concerned.

how we gonna know that the collision never activate the airbag and how to check the airbag are still there?

and 1 more thing, i just change headlamp bulb due to they already blow when i pickup the car. but the new bulb only last for about 1 hour. then the left side blow. now only right side tinggal. i already check the previous comment and i see that this is a common prob. but izzit common the bulb only last 1hour? if i wanna change what type and brand do you recommend?

insured mine for RM1000 only so need to add RM300 more for option 2. bad workmanship from them because my hud got scratches by silicon (?) while the were replacing the windscreen.

owned forte for 1.5 years and clocking 40k soon. few problems noted

1. squeaking dashboard (which i decided to just ignore)
2. squeaking driver seat - i find it very very annoying! help!
3. some "klock klock" sound coming from underneath the front passenger seat dashboard. - HELP!

I have a bad experience for 40k major service in Korean Carmates Glenmarie.

1. They not inform you once they done with your car. If I not go and ask about the status after long period, I may end up with keep on waiting till end of the day.

2. Driver side noise after service – I noted there are some noise come from driver side dashboard or somewhere under the hood. The noise is more obvious when reverse gear engaged. I observed it for a day and send it back to the workshop the next day for investigation. I’m not the car expert and I not sure what could lead to that. As they changed the ATF Oil and Brake Oil for the major service, I rather not to take a chance and compromise the drive safety. However, after I drove a long journey all the way reach the workshop, the person in charge show me the long face and impatiently phrase that the service won’t cause that situation, but in reality, that noise only appear after the service. The PIC told me they are bc and cannot entertain me that day and ask me to come again other day. Anyway, I doubt they will/could solve that issue as they look at me suspiciously and never believe that is caused by them. Well, this will be the last time I visit that workshop.

Dear all, my car is 6 speed 2013 kia forte, original car, when i drive from KL to pahang on karak highway, i feel the car is not stable when cornering,i drive about 80-90Kmh, any one face this problem before?

As for cornering, for SX version hv 2 turn on TCS, so it won't be unstable for cornering
