Alright guys... where to find silicone wiper for this Forte? my friend asked me...

Hi guys. Some of you might have seen this from various FB pages. But I guess, I'll share this sad news here as well.

A Forte owner (and also our fellow club member) has passed away in an accident at Jambatan Kerteh. His car went into the river.

Received called from SC to go back for car wiring checking. Something to do with the air con. They said it's instructed by Kia HQ. Anyone here received such call from SC?

Follow the number of times you went to service.

If 3rd time means 20k service, no matter what your mileage is. Rule is to service the car every six months, regardless of your current mileage.

i dont understand. 

5k interval if u using semi syn oil
10k interval if u using fully syn oil.

mine using fully syn petronas 3000 oil. so change every 10k la.

not sure answered your inquiry or not. lol.

if i get it right, your date service time come earlier than your mileage service time. its time for 3rd service but your ODO is only 10k.
correct?

I'm sure those who are driving 2.0 would have been very satisfied with the extra power + pick up over 1.6. IMHO, FC should not be a concern as long we enjoy the drive.
Besides, you can drive confidently knowing your car has got extra 'pecut' when you really need it to chiong on certain occasions

Need advise. Drove Forte almost 1 year and need to renew my road tax..

1. Have to buy the allianz insurance since warranty is under 2+3 years?
2. Doesn't need to renew through SC? Outsider agents will do?

Whats the different between Original Malaysia with Korea?

Steps to Troubleshoot:

1) Check the water level of the Wiper Water Reservoir (WWR).
2) Check to ensure that the hose (the thin one connecting the WWR to the Nozzles) are not kinked/clipped/punctured (quite a common occurrence).
3) Use a sewing needle OR safety pin, of normal thickness, to clear the Nozzle heads.
4) If all else fails, it either means that your WWR electric pump is faulty OR something has gotten stuck somewhere in between the WWR and the Nozzle.

1. hose sumbat, got any tyre shop they can tiup for you
2. inside tangki sumbat, need open and clean from below
3. motor rosak
mine, inside the tangki sumbat, got cleaned by kcm.
before this i go to setapak sc, they bullshit me they already cleaned. (i request them to clean as i read few possible cause from somewhere)
then ask me tukar motor for the pump, i think i 1 year tak pakai more than 10 times think back also middle finger 

Same problem occur since last week..   

Speaking about FC..last week went to KL. Here's my FC figure for 100% highway drive (from Alor Setar North toll to Sungai Buloh Layby) :

Please note that my car is Forte 2.0 4-speed with 16" lightweight rims. Average speed 100-120 km/h only (most of the time use autocruise) 

Fuel to full tank at Alor Setar & arrived at Sg. Buloh the fuel gauge shows just below half a tank
