just to seek for opinions:
Example: number of service scheduled: 1st service on 10k, 2nd service on 20k, 3rd service on 30k, etc but when reaching the due date of service, mileage are far less than it scheduled: let say 1st service 5k, 2nd service 10k, 3rd service maybe 15k, 4th service 20k... so, when go for service as scheduled, shall follow servicing as "number" or "mileage"?? if follow number, then on 3rd service (which mileage only 15k) already do major service as 30k. |

QUOTE(Proclaimer @ Mar 28 2014, 02:43 PM) Follow the number of times you went to service. yes, agree service car every six month as scheduled. If 3rd time means 20k service, no matter what your mileage is. Rule is to service the car every six months, regardless of your current mileage. Just for the packages/items of service, taken your above example, 3rd service take 20k package or the 10k package (assuming mileage ard 10k at the time). I believe 20k package should be cost more than 10k service package. |

QUOTE(craxors @ Mar 28 2014, 12:23 PM) i dont understand. 5k interval if u using semi syn oil 10k interval if u using fully syn oil. mine using fully syn petronas 3000 oil. so change every 10k la. not sure answered your inquiry or not. lol. thanks for reply. Scenario is like this: it's time to service the car, which is 3rd service. According to the maintenance/service package, the service is for 15k/20k mileage (can't remember). in fact, the mileage only ard 10k. So, should proceed with their 15k/20k service package, or ask for 10k package (mean by mileage)? which options will you guys go for? I believe which ever we choose, it doesn't affect on the warranty, am I right? |

QUOTE(craxors @ Mar 28 2014, 03:21 PM) if i get it right, your date service time come earlier than your mileage service time. its time for 3rd service but your ODO is only 10k. yah, you are right. haha.. I use it everyday, but each day travel ard 25km.correct? this one i not sure. better ask the service centre. Motorman, can explain? *u not using the car? |

QUOTE(roxor @ May 5 2014, 11:28 PM) I'm sure those who are driving 2.0 would have been very satisfied with the extra power + pick up over 1.6. IMHO, FC should not be a concern as long we enjoy the drive. totally agree with you Besides, you can drive confidently knowing your car has got extra 'pecut' when you really need it to chiong on certain occasions |

Just want to know, does anyone of you having issue with the windshield water hose (not sure with the correct term)?
The water didn't spray out or spray low, can't even reach the windscreen and after sent for service and repaired, this issue come again (after 2 - 3 months). Is this thing so easily get damaged? never have such issue with other cars even almost 10 years. Will ask them during my visit of service maintenance next month. |

QUOTE(rompers @ Nov 19 2014, 12:00 PM) Steps to Troubleshoot: Thanks for the helps. 1) Check the water level of the Wiper Water Reservoir (WWR). 2) Check to ensure that the hose (the thin one connecting the WWR to the Nozzles) are not kinked/clipped/punctured (quite a common occurrence). 3) Use a sewing needle OR safety pin, of normal thickness, to clear the Nozzle heads. 4) If all else fails, it either means that your WWR electric pump is faulty OR something has gotten stuck somewhere in between the WWR and the Nozzle. Hope this helps. Step 1, yes, I always checked. Step 2, I will double confirm again on this. Step 3, I haven't try to "dig" yet as water did spray out just either very low angle or not enough pressure. Step 4, this one I really have to ask the technician to check. what I curious was it been fixed for few months and happens again |
