Hey LYN peeps!I'm almost due for my 60k service. And SC is quoting me around        RM 8xx .so is there any other reliable workshop that services forte? Or should I just stick with SC?

hi guys, test driven a 3 yrs used forte 2.0 today. when idle at gear 1, the steering got vibration.
if put on neutral gear, less vibration, but still can feel.

is this normal?

Just a question, is kia forte not in production anymore?

You are lucky, only rm12. Mine was rm15 and I'm pissed. That's why I won't go back there any more even though the have good experienced guy there.

Having some trouble with my steering wheel. KIA Forte 2.0SX 2010 with the motor assisted power steering.

Problem is there is a "kluk kluk" sound when turning the wheel especially when its near the center. Occurs at all speeds, i.e. even when idle. Steering is a bit stiffer now as well. Did some research and read somewhere that the bushing might be out.

Anyone having this problem also? And could someone point me to a reputable mechanic? Or should I send it back to KIA SC? I was thinking cause there is some safety issues involved, i.e. need to remove the steering, air bags and all, so wouldn't want to risk this. Also, my warranty is already up, so I can choose not to send it back to SC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, anyone install the Turbo Air Booster (TAB) on their Forte 1.6? I have the unit from my previous car and want to install it on my Forte. Can anyone guide me how to install it?

Having a difficulty on the options below, hope that all sifus can give some opinion.     

Forte A - 30km mileage , 2.0, 2011 manufactured year, 6 speed
Forte B - 15km mileage, 1.6 SX, 2012 manufactured year, 6 speed

both condition are superb.

Pricing about the same. Which one would be better?

Is 1.6 having better fc? or anything i should concern with ?

Should I go back to the Kia SC to service my car or can I just go to normal workshop?

Also, can i use lower grade oil rather than the expensive premium used by SC?
