u can go ahead and purchase, ( in my opinion, 21Mbps modem is purely wasted money,)

i would directly take 4G LTE modem, future prove, cheap price now and better latest chipset tech

4G LTE modem in 3G area performs better than 21Mbps HSPA+ in 3G area..

which model would u recommend??

Still connect but i cant access the MR3420 through 192.168.0.1

I have try unplug E398 in that situation and want to see if i can access the MR3420, unfortunately it still the same. The solution is to off-on the MR3420.

1 more thing is i dont know how to flash properly. I have read the instruction at the first page but i already update my MR3420 to the newest firmware, is it still ok to flash?

Which version should i pick? Yellow or Red? I need some guidance, afraid will brick the modem.

you should try Lan cable to see whether u have same issue of no data traffic after while,

if your lan cable dont have such issue, meaning it is wifi issue,.

can try to flash huntsman, i personally use Red version of the 25-1 red huntsman,.

just make sure u plug in LAN CABLE connection to flash router,.

or u can try to claim warranty due to the poorly built on recent stock in wifi circuit/power circuit area

Guys I got new problem. Regarding last problem, I still didn't flash my MR3420 yet but now my E398 didn't detect network carrier. I try to open up mobile partner and try to search network manually. Search is success to view all the carrier available but fail to register manually.

Any suggestion please.

it is either your sim issue fault or celcom in your area is down,

u might want to proceed to celcom centre/blue cube for further

Yes confirm its carrier problem. I already check others who use same network as mine, all no network. Now everything come back to normal.

Thank You chuahcs79 for your help. Really appreciate it. notworthy.gif

BTW regarding my last problem which is E398+MR3420 always disconnected, i notice that when my brothers laptop start to connect then the network will disconnect. IDK why but before this use with my housemate which is 6 people altogether connect (Laptop+Dekstop+HP+Tablet = couple dozen of device connected to the modem), this kind of problem never happen. I think there is something special going on between my brother laptop with the modem. Hahaha who knows. tongue.gif

you should also check what is the thing he do with his laptop when connection disconnect,.

the p2p ? :hmm:if p2p is running, then it will hog almost 100% traffic data and connection,

so the rest of you are connected but zero response from internet

if router is handle more traffic then it can handle, disconnect will happen

Lol, come Singapore, i sell you cheap cheap rclxms.gif
I mean i made too many changes that make the router unusable, too many complex settings to remember, had to reset router to default mode sweat.gif

Dafuq it also works with E5776, my other routers(Huawei AF23/Dlink/Asus) also cannot recognize E5776/E8278 natively. (except the Huawei webui become frozen)
The one who made the huntsman firmware should deserve some awards or monetary support.
