1. Upgraded to 16MB Flash & 64MB ROM.
2. Added SMA connector with detachable antenna.
3. Firmware is OpenWRT with Samba server network share installed.

With USB Drive / HDD, now this is my portable Wifi NAS while travelling

which version of openwrt they load for u ? 

China version heavily customised with tons of function

I have 3 of this for load balance

is that heavy customised openwrt any good compare to funnelweb ?

oh, one more thing, this latest firmware still bottle neck the LTE speed,

and the QoS still working in 3G modem only,.

i rather purchase tplink 8mb flash memory above router and flash funnelweb rooter,

way better than waiting for tplink support snail

i think your current setup is much more efficent and better choices than software multiwan in funnelweb

Tested funnelweb real quick, dont seem to have any serious bug. My E3276 got online quite fast actually compare to before.

Able to get 2 WAN working (WiFi Client + USB 3G) but haven't try the multiwan3

But for sure it don't work out of the box. I guess I need to change some firewall rule.

Both TL-MR3020 and TL-MR3040 does support QoS, if flashed to OpenWRT. Though, It doesn't come pre-installed, you need to install it:


Use PuTTY or from the web-interface: System -> Software -> Download and install package

Or better yet, flash Gargoyle firmware, which is an OpenWRT variant coming with a very nice looking default web interface. With Gargoyle, you don't need install anything to use QoS, it comes preinstalled (that is it's main strength).

I dont really want to pour cold water on you, but TP Link routers are actually have QoS on thier original firmware
When i have time i will try to flash my now-retired TPLink 3G router to third party firmware.

btw i just bought RT-AC68U 
wanted to buy AC56U but no stock. I took me a days to figure out how to connect this router to my Hilink E3276
The QoS options are so powderful as im still learning how to throttling bandwidth...
