Sorry if this question already being asked before

I own a MR3420. Already flashed it with rooter firmware. And I have been trying to combine wan+3G/4G connection. Is it possible?
Say that I own streamyx. I relay a lan cable from my streamyx modem to wan port. Then how to configure thr MR3420 as to bridge the connection and at the same time using 3G/4G connection? Is it possible?
Thanks

You need fail over or load balancing?

Both is possible but fail over is a lot simpler to setup. smile.gif

Load balancing, you might as well just get a load balance router to save the hassle laugh.gif

More to load balancing I guessas I want both connection (wan+ 3G / 4G).
Search and just found how to setup using stock firmware. Currently on Huntsman 2013-11-23.

Just want to try something new I guess. Hehe

Guys, TL-MR3020 got bandwidth control function? it does not mention one on official website, but 3040 does support bandwidth controlling.
So, 3020 = Qos, 3040 Bandwidth control. why cant have both ? doh.gif
Also, still no support for Hilink E3276? Huntsman firmware got Bandwidth control function or not sweat.gif

I have hard time finding a 4G router that can control bandwidth + support Hilink E3276. (my roommate always streaming video while i was gaming, sometimes i will lag till DC lol)
B593 is out my budget i think sweat.gif
While DIR 510L seems support QoS but it's expensive (150 SGD), can buy 3x TLMR 3020 already lol.

first golden rules,

never share your internet,. icon_idea.gif

and it seems like you need the QoS ( ip QoS ) instead of bandwidth control in your situation,..

as far as i remember, TPlink router QoS ( IP QoS ) only work for 3G not 4G,..

huntsman rooter only have the Smart QoS like Asus router,.. not the IP QoS bandwidth control,..

What? how come the QoS does not work on 4G sweat.gif
I share with him cause he also pay half of my internet bill mah lol rclxms.gif
I'm stuck with the old 3G router cause it's the only router that support IP bandwidth control, the rest of Huawei router lacks too many advanced function, basically they're useless lol.

So any recommended router for me?

Ip hunter will only works if we connect the modem directly to the computer, right?
Will it work if the modem is connected to the router?

Oh I thought there might be some setting in the Rooter fw to force the modem to connect to specific ip. sad.gif
It seems the only way to do it is by using the traditional connect-disconnect method.
