flashing router firmware Always LAN CABLE connection only,.

never use wireless for that ,..

hi guys . . having some problem with TL-MR3020 . . already using the latest firmware and my modem is huawei E392 . .

It seems the modem is already connected to the internet as shown below :

all fine but when my lappy or any device ( even try with iphone ) . . it seems no internet access shown . . try using microsoft diagnostic and it show DNS error . .

any solution guys ? mati kutu sudah niii wacko.gif wacko.gif

anyways this is the diagnostic log for the router :

You are using Maxis. Postpaid or Prepaid? May I know which DNS server you point to at your PC/lappy/device?

Can you try ping to following IP address below?

58.71.136.10
1.9.1.9
8.8.4.4
208.67.222.222

Try run this from your command prompt -> ipconfig/all

Anybody know how to setting proxy server ip into huntsman rooter in mr3420v2??
There doesn't seem to have feature for proxy server settings... Anyway to install the proxy server features by adding packages?

your V2 wont have enough space to install any packages,..
unless you add in usb power hub along with thumbdrive to extend the space ( all these process u can google it in youtube,.. ) there is few video tutor notworthy.gif

Is there any diagnostic tool in TL-MR3020?

Hmm... u can get IP address assigned from TL-MR3020 but ICMP dun work.

Need other sifu to give some advise here. Thanks. notworthy.gif

Local IP and Gateway is correct.
Only the DNS. 8.8.8.8 sometimes Maxis IP unable to ping.

Change to OpenDNS will confirm.

The issue is your modem is keep disconnecting with the router, which usually is caused by insufficient power supply

You may consider sending it to RMA

is the insufficient power supply affect the DNS thingy ? since i try with ipad power adapter . . it seems stable abit but there's also disconnection but no so frequent compared to the origin power adapter . .

so far test with my sister modem huawei E1762 working fine but that e392 i just use around 1 month only . . feel soo rugi kalau kena beli yg baru . . sad.gif sad.gif cry.gif cry.gif
