I did google for this but only found howto to set up vpn server on openwrt..
I was thinking of making the router connects to a vpn server like bolehvpn or epahngi n share the connection to multiple pc in lan. Is it possible?

where to get the best tplink 3g portable router? I can plug my own powerbank and run a harddisk on tplink portable with samba. Is there any tplink 3g portable router like this?

i think is using PPTP, not on openvpn configurations

Yes, is possible. But you have to make sure you getting 8mb flash memory router instead of mb. Otherwise you won't have enough space to install openvpn packages and save your config.

i already have mr3420 v2 n 4mb sweat.gif i think i'll pursue the pptp route for vpn... another thing... this router can support yes 4g go dongle?

this router default stock rom dont support Yes Go dongle, due to different protocol of dialing,..

if u want default stock rom which support, try asus router,..

Anyone using Huntsman 2013-12-20red with Huawei E398?
Did the SMS feature worked?

Mine shows blank after update to Huntsman 2013-12-20red. TL-MR3020.

u need to ROOT ur router.
follow the step at first post in this thread.

ROOter firmware: Huntsman
one of the features : SMS Messaging is supported

**i haven try the ROOT yet, but soon i will

WTA, about the modem dongle which one is the best? for instance all ISP can use that dongle..cos i went to TP Link website and make me confused which one to use..ohh im on tight budget. sad.gif

I also tight budget, and i get a MA180 and now very not stable,
after sifus here intro, at last i get one E3276 from @blacktubi
might be more stable. (esok will receive this modem)

**MA260 tp-link engineer told me not stable
**MA180 cheap but not stable.
**sifus here said: GET A BETTER MODEM

wahh, looking at the E3276 make me sweat.gif , well actually i need 24/7 online just keep the device stay online..is there any stable device? well yeah u guys will ask me to apply registered land line like streamyx and ur info my area no streamyx/fiber like unifi so the best option for me is using 3G/4G line since my area have coverage..

ps - i might be buy the E3276 in the future..makan kangkong liao..lol

get E398 vodafone rebranded if can't afford E3276.
E398 still the best signal gain device.
