Guys,

I went for an interview session at Kerteh for an OPU there early last month. The interview was conducted with TP and Department Manager, which most of it was all technical. After two weeks, I called their HR to find out the result for the session, and they said I've been recommended for SI. They asked me to wait for HR in KL to call for SI.

Now, its been two weeks since the call and I'm still have no ideas when they will call. I did ask during the interview, is the position offered need to be fill-up urgently. They answered that they are looking to fill the position by January. 

I got offer for gst dept. Oh...there is new method?i dun know what should i read.

Just finish my SI..i'm fail..hahaha...but actually i'm feel so relieved becoz i dun really like the position... I believed that God already plan smthg better for me. Those who success congrates and those who will attend either TA/SI i wish u all da best. Thanks guys for sharing the experience here. it really help a lot.. :-)

Just got called from PETRONAS to do SI...without going for TA or chitchat. i think that was because of my previous internship experience at Petronas.

Anyway, is there a new way of SI nowadays? It's been a year since I left Petronas and I'm not made known of any new methods.

My SI is this Sunday (21/12/2014)

Hi guys, I'm newbie here!

Recently receive an email from Pet PGB told me that they are in the midst of processing my recruitment pack.

Does this mean I got the job? Recruitment pack means offer letter or not? I reply to the mail but I have not received any reply back. i guess the HR was on leave.

Hope you guys can give advice or opinion.

My experience is the weirdest:

SI on 23rd Dec, then 2 weeks later (yesterday) received email to attend Medical Exam at Pusrawi this Thursday.

I thought the whole process takes months.

wow..that's very fast indeed    I did my SI on Oct and I haven't even received my medical checkup email up to this day

Thanks for the tip, today exercise a bit la liddat 
from chit chat until now, i've dealt with 4 different people from HR.. I guess everyone's job scope is very focused 

p/s:
When I received the call (to get medical checkup), i thought it was a prank from my friend, luckily didn't shout "hoi nak pekena aku ka?"

Just sent the medical exam report to HR today.

Goodness, the lung test ah, really pain    Have to repeat few times until pening already, damn..

   
Have you tried emailing them?
For me, I've just emailed the Head who interviewed me, he's the one who pushed my enquiries to HR

With 5 years of experience as engineer & Petronas offered RM9.8k?
Seems very small compared to the rest of the offers I got so far...
is this the current rate for PETRONAS?

They gave me 1 week deadline to do the medical checkup, so just delivered it myself in case the hospital delay here there until missed the deadline

Just finished my medical check up last week. Normally, how long does it takes to get the offer letter?
And is it possible that we did not passed the medical test? Eg. High sugar, high cholestrol, high bp and etc. let say we have either one of those..but doctor tick fit to work, still cannot get the offer is it? Scared already. Havent get any update since i submit my med check up last week. 😓

I assume:

non-technical - tier 3/ tier 4
most senior - E3's ceiling.

Ceiling should be around 8k. 

Is there anyone from Petronas here involve in Rapid project as a part of PMC?

What would be the main agenda or activities during PIPE?

So have to sleep there for few days. Cool, like holiday already   

yeah but it has been 4 freaking months. And what were making me so stress is when your colleagues who SI later than you and now they are already going offshore.
