Yup, the two assessors are very nice senior staffs from same department but different disciplines. They both have vacancies each.

At the end of session, they did reflect on the TA session (maybe since I am a fresh graduate). But so far, it doesn't reflect on what they had told me. Haha

Nevermind, patience is the key right? Or I should move on in the meantime. Hiks!

Can someone maybe share what's the structured interview like for an experienced staff >8 years experience? I read that there's 2 stages...1 on case study (it's individual or group) and 1 on behavioral interview. Any tips to share would be really good.

just got a call from petronas carigali yesterday to update on my resume (lol after a year of application). normally how long does it take for them to reply for interview session?

Went for the SI yesterday. Mentally & physically exhausting, the whole process took about 3 hours (1 yr waiting time filling up the form & read case study & 2 hrs of interview).  Basically there's 3 sections to the interview, 1 - intro & get-to-know you session 2-case study given 3-specific examples based on your experience in targeting areas like perseverance, problem-solving skills etc. The interview is not tough but just exhausting, my last few jobs interviews have always been casual sitting at cafes sipping coffees, the SI is too proper.

It took them 2 months to arrange the chit-chat session from the 1st point of contact from HR. About 3-4 months before calling me for SI. I don't think I would want to put much hope in it to know whether I go through for placement. The process is long. But I guess it depends 'coz some I read in the forum, they have gotten the replies & offer very fast within few weeks.

And one of the interviewer's body language doesn't seems to favour me much.  oh well, life goes on hehe

I was looking through the web, i see some companies are registered with petronas.... This means they are petronas supplier? How do i know it is still valid or not?
My assumption is when there is registration, there will be an expiry....

So out of curiosity, all those company with the registration are real?
No one dare to make counterfeit license? Or is there a site to verify them company?????

Hi..Just wanna share my T.A exp session yesterday.

Submit to a friend my CV and got a called a week later to attend the T.A session.Previously was inform the opening is for OPI dept so my mentality alrdy set for OPI link type of question.Having my T.A via skype video conference with 1 manager and 2 sr technical guys as all of them currently in oversea. The exp i must is really nightmare. The question being asked is really technical and details.Is like having a university exam but verbally need to answer the question.They ask me like was is the value for bla bla bla bla..is a fact value..how am i suppose to remember all this thing.As im from telecom exp, they actually ask me a technical question for each telecom system.I thought they only ask only general question like functionality or architecture of a system, but they ask a question something like what is the lowest value for light remittance in order to have a good camera that can see in dark..omg!how i my suppose to remember that..they actually have a book in front of them for their reference to ask me a question with answer.If i answer wrongly,they will mention the correct answer for me.The worst part is, they ask me about instrument thing which i dont have exp at all.Yes im a degree holder in E&E majoring in instrumentation but already graduated last 5 years and working in telecom side.In the end, they inform me that the interview is for instrument engineer not for OPI executive. Wow, now wonder why HR don't want to inform me when i ask for what position. The T.A conference last for 2 hours. I got big headache after the session.Just pray for me that i pass the T.A and call up for SI and get hired.

Usually how long for the SI result to comes out?

I failed my medical check up on the first try. Do the check up at PUSRAWI, the breathing test need to be done 8 times, the doctors know what is the benchmark we required to pass, so he push me to do it until i pass the test (for info, I'm a smoker).

However, it was not this test that make me failed. It was on blood test. my cholesterol level during first medical check up is 6.3+ if i'm not mistaken. So HR call me, and give me another 3 months to re-do my medical check up. however, i just re-do it again after 5 weeks, and the level has decrease to 4.6 (the required level to pass is 5.2 and below).

long story short, now working with PETRONAS.

p/s: heard someone said they need to do the TA on saturday. this is normal. I'm doing my SI also on saturday.
