hello folks..

I just wonder do we have a higher chance of getting employed by Petronas if we are currently working with one of Petronas Subsidiaries. I am currently working as an executive with MMHE (less than 1 year experience). I am really looking forward to joining the client side as a site engineer.I tried my luck last year after graduation but I havent received any news from Petronas.

Askm, I will be starting work on the 11th while my friend on the 17th. We are both still looking for rooms to rent and are hoping to get a house together with other colleague out there who will also be starting in February.

Both will be working in KLCC.

Greetings. I'm a Petronas employee working at KLCC. Currently looking for 3 muslim male housemates to rent an apartment. Been thinking to stay at PV5 or PV3 condo since near to LRT Taman Melati. Want to enter a unit by February or March. Rental should be about rm400-rm500 a month. If any of you fit this criteria and interested, please PM me. Thanks!

Hey guys,

Just wondering for those who have 3 years work experience in Big 4 audit firm and professional qualification, are they joining as E1 or E2? Coz some of them already earn more than RM5k..

I'm not sure if it's called IT but yes, for the E&P business line we have what we called Data Management Department. A unit that handles all the exploration and development datasets (seismic data, logs etc etc). They do not fall under IT eventhough what they do mostly is related to the IT infratstructure.

i'd applied 1-2years without a single call. i know how hr are overloaded with resumes. honestly, at least for me, it's not so much on the position i want, but to have a job to begin with and related to my background.
not sure if b4 this it was end of the year times and vacancies are scarce.. i read news of ppl unemployed since graduation in august.. losing my confidence as in am i that bad ?

Maybe another thing you can do is keep updating your applications, maybe make it clearer, more concise, have it proof read by someone. Im not sure whether it will help, but my sister did get a call a few month after I sit with her and help her to write a better CV. It is always a good practice to keep your application and CV updated every now and then with any new information anyway. good luck!

As far as i remember, at least with my department, most of our interns do get offered a job after they graduated, especially if they do well during their intern. So based on my limited experience, it might helped if you do get an intern position with Petronas.

Not unless you know anyone working there who you can forward your CV to. He/She can then forward the CV to the relevant HR departments directly.

does petronas has employee referal program (ERP). meaning to say u introduce them skill workers with related experiences. so after they got employed. u be paid a portion of the sum. when they get confirmed. u receive remaining balance. credited along with your salary. dunno how much. heard few thousands for some industries.

Depends on the person who sent it in. If the person is a GM or SGM, usually within a week, the potential candidates will be contacted.
