Hi all bro, i am currently facing a problem with my P780.
Do you all ever facing a problem where your phone line hang but you not notice?Only after you restart the phone then only receive a lot of missed call sms & data back to normal.
My phone quite frequent have this problem especially after i put it charging overnight.
Another problem is my phone always able to charge up to 99% only but not 100%, y??

Yes I did experience it. It is because of line problem. Yesterday I also faced the same problem at Mid Valley with DiGi 3G. After switching to 2G it works flawlessly.

Vibe ROM seems popular, never tried it but it sure looks quite good.

I still prefer SLXROM for android vanilla UI with gravitybox features.

My friend saw me using this phone so he bought one, 4GB AP version like RM750 i think. Thinking it's cheaper than mine, he thought he scored a winner.

TO his surprise, that phone cannot register/receive signal from his telco provider on both sim slots when he's at our work place, the so called 'tempat jin bertendang'. BOth of his SIMs works fine tested with my phone and others. More complex, he said when he's in kota bharu he got full signal reception, meaning his sims' slots are ok. That, the shopkeeper think he's making an excuse, looking for a refund or free fix.

Im puzzled too, dunno what to do. I checked the phone settings all seems normal, he's on s116 row and didn't update correctly until the second time he tried. Even with row s119 nothing changed. There's no OTA to s123 too. I suspect his phone got a lazy/weaker scanning mode but other than that I'll leave him to go to where he bought it.

WHat do think the problem is? Howto?

Hmm, then the shop can replace it. I've ask my friend to make the shop update the phone and yea maybe replace the antenna. Boy he's in for a waiting game.

V20? IINM I flashed V20 yesterday, and both of my SIM got no line. Flashed back to V23 and it's working back.

Yes, mine came with v20 modem, s119. I use this phone for 3G/internet only so I don't know how bad it was for v20 but I got good signal with v23 that came with s123 ota. Looks like my friend needs a new 'driver' for his phone.

Though lately maxis bb is bad eh? very unstable.
