anyone know how to repartition the eMMC for 8gb version, to allocate all the memory to internal storage, and have no internal sdcard? possible or not?

7-8hours++ of screetime.

3g drains MORE battery than Wifi alone

RAM Usage - about 700-900MB
Using Whatsapp/Wechat/Facebook/Messenger/Twitter/Line/Gmail/Waze/Youtube

I've tested so many rom so far and none that satisfy my needs

It's been a month my phone is naked. only screen protector. the back plate is very dirty or can get easily dirty by sweating fingers. dislike that. other than that, if you did not scratch it, I would say it can tahan everyday use. put in poket(jeans) or handbang(my gf) still no scratches on the back plate. only kotor. still waiting for our casing to arrive :3

anyhow, MIUI ultimate + v6 supercharger = OP!! I wont change to any other rom now. :3

Install version 3.11.16, and the installed OTA p780 fix, and then installed the 3.11.23 OTA zip and flashed. I'm having issue with s850 modem so i change with stock v20 modem(s116 row build). Note: If you dont use V6 supercharge i wouldnt recomend much to use miui. its such a ram hog. 800-900 initial boot. after you installed everything, configured everything then use v6 supercharger. your ram usage will be about 600mb with lots of apps running. tested.

weekly build. you cannot use miui rom straight from miui source if you coming from ROW. you'll brick your phone. you need a MIUI ROW version to use over your ROW P780. ROW use different partition

doesn't matter if 8gb or 4gb. whats matter is your previous rom or which rom you coming from. If you were on stock chinese, you can use directly on needrom.com . If you're coming from row based rom (s116/s119) you should use only row based rom.

there are other way without twrp(using flashtool) to convert from row to chinese stock or chinese stock to row. from there you can chose wether you wan row based rom or not

there are few modems that you could try. my most stable on me is v20 modem. other modem i got no signal on celcom. zz

you could do it yourself, change the updater-script

I flashed over Life Rom via flashtool. Then using life repartition to increase built in storage to 2.5gb. from there using the pre-installed TWRP recovery i install MIUI, MIUI OTA FIX, and MIUI latest OTA ZIP. from there I restore my backups. and the I installe V6 Supercharger from my comp. done


Tips. Turn off your phone completely(press the re button under the microSD.
Next, Open your flash tool, with the configured/recomended setting, press the Download/Upgrade Firmwire first
Wait until it finish load(if the file has checksum) or until the bar is white. From then, just connect your phone to your computer. without turning it on. just do nothing and connect it should work

seems like a driver issue. try on another pc. or uninstall the driver, reinstall the correct one. I dont remember how to uninstall usb driver. It wont show on device manager, you have to use another tools, and remove any MTK-ish driver. and reinstall the correct driver via the correct inf for your device

AFAIK, no. different EBR1,EBR2, MBR being used on ROW based rom and chinese based rom. If you want to use chinese based rom, you have to flash unto a chinese stock rom first.

these 4 partition has different block being addressed in ROW and chinese based

/system
/data
/cache
/emmc (built in sd card i think?)

EDIT: just noticed the world flash. lol. If those CWM recoveries do include these partition tables then you could try. the partition table is EBR1, EBR2, and MBR i think.

happened to me before. I delete battery calibration manually via twrp and charge the phone via twrp for about 1 minutes. then i boot up to phone and restart few times until the battery reset it's percentage

a) I used V20 modem with umobile no issue
b) never occured to me, see above post
c) thats probably a bug, i don't know how to solve this too. the aptoide extension .myapk is not recognised in miui. idk how to manually open it under aptoide.
d) a bug to, HDR func will dc the camera, lets wait for an OTA update that might fix this
e) you could try an alternative apps(I read on xda about it but forgot what its name

+more , the LED notification didn't work as intended on my phone. hoping for a weekly build that will fix this issue.
