Is there any difference between the 4GB version vs the 8GB version apart from the size of internal space?
Cuz am thinking getting the 4GB is enough since got expandable microSD slot. Can root it then push stuff onto microSD instead.
Thanks.

Erm... is this phone by default already using CWM recovery? Installed ROM Manager and it seems to suggest that I have both TWRP and CWM recovery, or maybe I interpret it wrongly...

Less than 1 day old phone, now rooted, flashed CWM recovery, flashed SLXROM. Now on Nexus-like ROM, no more clunky stock rom. All was so easy to flash without fuss.

QUOTE(wyattchong @ Nov 26 2013, 03:34 PM) is it really follow step by step only ?if device lcd suddenly dead then how unroot it back ?if really do it at phone shop how much will be charge ? so far my experience with this phone rooting and flashing is quite easy and straight forward, mainly using apk files instead of doing it from computer with toolkit etc.

Anyway anyone here using the phone naked without casing?
currently using without casing and like it that way, but just scared the phone back easy to get scratch especially with its pop-out camera lens design, unlike other phone with flat back design so suitable to use without casing.

does the phone feels hot when charging from plug instead of PC USB?
I notice it charge ALOT faster when direct power point charge compared to PC USB port.
When when I say alot, its like 10% to 50% in 45 mins. Then I feel the phone is hot, I know that heat is bad for battery so quite worry. I'm using stock charger that came with the box. Is the stock charger output higher than ordinary samsung/sony etc chargers?

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Nov 26 2013, 09:47 PM) Yes it is slightly hot cos the changer is pumping 2A while our USB is only 0.8~1A... so u need at least 1.5~2A to charge it faster... Lets do some math... if 2000mAh battery need 2~3 hrs to charge it then 4000mAh how long? If they did not increase the Amp, hoe can we charge faster? Haha... Opppsss u can go to SC n check see they say anything or not... remember to keep the receipt... but isn't heat no good for battery? Say if I don't mind taking long time to recharge so I choose to use lower output chargers(such as samsung's charger), it won't do any harm right? just longer charging times which I prefer over heating up my phone and feeling worried.

QUOTE(MatShadow @ Nov 27 2013, 01:34 AM) Check via Factory Mode > Item test Make sure u ON gps. On keypad, ####1111# then item test > GPS test In fact, here there are whole lot of test u could do besides GPS test. Very useful indeed. If failed then go SC. [attachmentid=3742058] ok I went developer options > engineering mode > location tab > YGPS > GPS Test > then what number should I enter for "Times 0 - 999" and "Interval 0 - 000(s)"? or should i go "Location Based Service" instead of "YGPS"? and should I enable EPO under "Location Based Service"? btw I found a help tips, not sure it works gonna try it later: http://www.gizchina.com/2013/07/23/how-to-...ediatek-phones/Thanks for the help guys! QUOTE(MatShadow @ Nov 27 2013, 10:41 AM) U tried testing ####1111# method? Test successful or fail? I c u tried Mobileuncle engineering mode instead. Sorry I'm not familiar with that. But if u have not tinker the GPS setting b4 this, then u probably got hardware faulty. No matter what adjustment u set it still won't work! where do i key in ####1111#? The normal dialpad? cuz I can't find where is Factory Mode > Item test
