can a 4.4.2 FIND 5 rom be ported to our beloved lenovo p780? Any sifus?

Hey thanks for your help. I have flashed gapps but now I face another new problem. I can't download any apps via playstore. and when I upgrade to 4.5.10 latest playstore, I can't even enter to playstore, and it shows no connection... anyone face this problem?

Ya i tried d. Now reflashed the MIUI one, I can go into playstore, but whenever I try to install anything, it cannot download and says connection error (403).

i'm having this weird problem where the phone will auto turn the gps on.

i've tried to disable "access to location" in the location services tab but some apps will auto turn the gps back on

Also one more question, what's the default action if you hold the home button ? On my previous phone it will launch the recent program list but on this phone it launches the google search. anyway to change it ?

Try wipe cache and dalvik cache

I'm not really sure why u hv tis problem since I'm not on miui.
But, have chk ur default write disk.External?

Just a suggestion, turn off ur GPS from setting and not from notification bar.
Checking what turning on ur GPS can be done from wakelock list.

Hmm. I somehow think that the Note 2/3 is on par with the P780

I was able to get 11, almost touching 12 hours of screen time on my Note 2 back when I was on 4.1.2 on Perseus kernel which allowed me to underclock and undervolt.

I get to change phone every half a year, my phone comes with a contract so I don't really mind the prices.

Makes sense thou, the sub RM1k price vs a pro RM1k phone for around the same performance in terms of battery life.

Note 2 % 3 are gud phones indeed. They cater for diff mkt segment.
Fyi, some need 2 Sim, big batt, price less RM1k, and don't really crowd followers... So.?
