You probably want to walk deeper into the store. Noticed the section at the corner will all the mixers, keyboards, and whatnots? That's where they keep the multi effects.

QUOTE(Bassix @ Oct 21 2006, 04:37 AM) that's too general. Which marshall are you referring to? Not all marshalls have the "marshall sound". And the marshall sound is not muddy. Vox sounds muddier to me. All of them. Although i like Brian May, i have to say his tone sucks. His live tone is one to die for... if you listen to the tone he got in the recently released Return of The Champions, you wouldn't believe it's the same amp that gave you Helter Skelter and Apache. I love his tone, both live tone and the Bohemian Rhapsody tone. The latter's very distinctive and unmistakable, however it only works if you're Brian May. Long live Queen! yeah but on the other hand, it's unique. And not a fender nor a gibby...So i guess, you either love it or you hate it.

well if you've tried the samick strats from before greg bennett, its exactly the same.
anyway, just took a look at that epi again. serial says its made in the saein factory in korea from 1996. btw, was reading an interview with mr. scary aka george lynch. now i know why he has so many ESP signature models. cos ESP's president is a real good friend and was a roadie for dokken back in the 80s seems ESP started out by supplying parts to kramer, which was one of lynch's models back then. Ppl who own an RG, from you experience, is it because im clumsy or the paint chips off easily? Stains are popping up quite often. Didnt even realise. Damn... need to take care...

Stains? or dings/nicks? How do u treat your guitar?
Well, my RG1570 doesn't have a single nick or ding yet (i hope not lol)... my GRX70 which I've owned since early 2002 has quite a couple of tiny dings, and one small chip and lots of pick scratches. I think basswood bodied guitars are a bit easier to chip or crack the poly clearcoat... |

I really don't think basswood actually dents that easily. My SX strat (alder body) has way more dents than my RG and my RG was the one that has been through the most abuse; gigs, BOTB, jammings, recordings...
That said, there are some really really minor paints chips here and there but so small if I don't point it out, no one will actually noticed it. Where they come from? One thing for sure, chips do not formed themselves. Must have bump it somwhere or something without realizing it. The hardware on the other hand, is a different thing. My edge pro has almost completely faded now. When I first bought it in 2003 it was cosmo black. It is almost chrome now. |
