me = bed room guitarist who is cursed to miss gigs
Heh my band used to miss lots of gigs too, it wasn't until after 3 years of jamming that we finally get to play our first gig.

And how memorable it was.

summit auditorium. funny huh lol. i think this is the last school-related function before college life haha! yeah i'll be a poser. who do you pose as, ledzep?

i used to think the same thing too, but things changed lol.

oh yeah, the best part was, there was no soundcheck! the equipment provider was 2 hours late. ass****

and we only practiced for 4 hours prior to the gig.

coz of time constraints haha.
WTF? What do you mean who I pose as?? I'm the original poser and it's ppl like Yuko Ogura who copies me with her V-Pose:

For some reason, soundcheck-less gigs are part of gigs, always. Malaysians being Malaysians are always late, including myself.
Anyway the stage setup for my gig was bloody messy, I thought our band was gonna screw up. I was bloody afraid if I stepped on a cable of the power point, which would shut down all the pedals, so I had to be extra careful whenever I step out for the occasional posing moment.

I agree that soundcheck is very crucial, but always prepare to play without it.
4 hours of practice, that's pretty good, keep up the good work.

We should update each other on available gigs so we could perform together.

yeah i looked your self promo video already lol.

it was good!
yeah i know, it's not an excuse, just that if we had a soundcheck, the solo could be more audible.

Were you the one who played the main riff??? I couldn't really hear the solo but the other guitar was pretty ok.

The drummer needs to work somemore but considering he's only Form2, he's definitely on the right track. If he continues to practice consistantly, he'ill be very good by the time he's in form 5.

just that ppl are afraid that zakk wylde wannabe ends up doing disney or hilary duff moves on stage
nerd, that video was made as a joke. hehe. cant wait for led zep's vid to be out. watching urself perform live on video can be very funny.
I've seen it already, yeah it's pretty funny but it gives you a chance to review your stage presence and antics. I'm thinking of new tricks to pull off onstage already.

One day I'm gonna try the windmill.

Have you tried that before?

Anyway check out Pink Floyd's PULSE DVD preview :
http://www.d-play.de/index_start.php?player_id=68&dvd_id=115The stage setup's so beautiful and the laser lights!!!
