NO

you can't use Band 3 (1800mhz) LTE on the US set in malaysia,
Band 7 (2600mhz) LTE and all other aspects of the phone will still work
*
D820 (us set) doesn't have lte band 7

wonder why android phones always launch with these two problems and we all always pray for a software fix that never comes usually..haha at least for my phones in the past. cant they just test drive everything properly..

You mean Nexus phones, not android phones.

Many flagship android phones now sell with upwards of 3000mah batteries and some even have decent cameras. The Note 3 comes to mind.

To clarify again, YES you still can use US version here. With maximum internet speed of HSPA+

So as Moto X
*
No. Saying it that way is liable for misunderstanding. Let's make this as clear as daylight to ensure everyone understands

D820 US Set
3G YES
LTE NO

D821 International Set
3G YES
LTE YES

So if you buy the US set you can still use 3G, but you will not be able to use LTE

caveat emptor

Yeah, that was the source of his confusion and he has apologized. I've edited the front page for further clarity. Hopefully that helps. Sorry to the TS for intruding on his post.

It's not Area 51 mystery.
All Nexus devices' battery are crappier compared to regular high end devices.
