since nothing can be done on hardware side, let's just hope google will release major software fix on camera & battery.

But my guess they are only working on camera fix.

Battery improvement will come in next version of Kit Kat tongue.gif

wonder why android phones always launch with these two problems and we all always pray for a software fix that never comes usually..haha at least for my phones in the past. cant they just test drive everything properly..

i dont think malaysian people would buy the us version, probably uk or australia, unless some hacks can be made to enable the lte bands of 3/7 on the us set

Surely got. both US and International version. A poster posted a screenshot of him using International version in Msia edi.

Of course the ppl who got US version won't be able to use LTE here but frankly they don't care.

cause i saw from other forum, the seller claim that he tested the US version can use LTE signal in Malaysia. that is why i need to know whether there is ppl holding a US N5 now n able connect to LTE in Mas.

so most likely that fellow is cheating...

NO

you can't use Band 3 (1800mhz) LTE on the US set in malaysia,
Band 7 (2600mhz) LTE and all other aspects of the phone will still work

Sorry, not really good at this. If we are able to use 1/2 the band only, would there be difference in terms of signal reception?

that means you won't get LTE at areas that only have Band 3
also means if Band 7 is crowded, you might experience slow speed

AFAIK
maxis & celcom uses both band 3 & 7
digi only uses band 7, for now

no idea on the overlapping of band 3 & 7 coverage
