It's reasonable to expect Nexus 5 to have slight better battery usage than SGS IV. But it's unreasonable to expect Nexus 5 to last like G2 or Note3 due to lower battery rate.

I do agree that Anandtech's review is much more comprehensive that other websites. But regular people don't want to know about every single nuts and bolts in a device

No.It's decent. But it's not as good as the flagships from other OEMs.

Talking about the battery life really make me wonder how the heck LG managed to make Optimus G & G2's last longer than other devices which used similar hardwares. Their UI department suck balls but their battery optimization tricks are excellent.
