I see.. but I'm just wondering why the notification just popped up after I used the phone for more than 2 weeks. In fact, I have installed several downloaded apk b4 but never came across this.

Anyway, one more changes I made to the phone is changing the Data usage setting, turning off the Auto sync and enable data restriction. Is it related?

Not related. So far we still don't know what or how it was triggered even if you didn't install any cracked apps. The possible way to disable this is too root your phone and freeze knox.

Really? As far as I remember, I never seen this message b4. In fact, my phone still less than 1 month, in case this is the 2nd alert. Ermm..

Anyway, seems like the alert is harmless right?

This afternoon I went to Plaza Lowyat... couldn't find Otterbox Commuter yet.
One of the salesgirl told me that Otterbox haven't release case for Note 3 and I said what???

Maybe the pre-installed apps doesn't kick up the Knox notice but when you update certain apps..the update gonna kick the Knox notice.
If you're unrooted...just tick at the 'don't show for 30 days'.
If you have root...disable/freeze all the Knox related apps and system.

Otterbox commuter and defender can be found at Berjaya times square IT centre, one of the front shops (mycaseshop or something like that, forgot liao.. )

A few other shops inside are also selling them, and most of them are from Otterbox malaysia dealer, KWS Distribution.

I myself ponder about the same thing when looking for the otterbox defender. I came to a conclusion (based from a friend who works in one of the lowyat shop) that lowyat prefer cheaper products. Anyway just my opinion.

Lowyat prefer selling fake items. Easy to get big profit.

Oh, thanks very much - just saw it on their website - RM3499! Maybe can trade in my Note II! :-) So, I may have another look at the Lenovo dual sim version first.....can't understand why top of the line models can't have dual sim built-in. People who can afford top of the line are the ones most likely to need dual sim capability (except for China where it seems everyone needs it!)
