waveweaver ..... Echoe V4 based on MJ7 is uploading now

Want to ask i flash the same rom as u, why my Baseband is DMJ4? 
Build number ok is DMJ7.
Version-
AP N9005XXUDMJ7

CP N9005XXUDMJ4

CSC N9005OXADMJ4

Strange. 

My baseband is DMJ7. Strange in yours.

I extracted the zip file on PC and sent to device ext sd card. Zip file about 1.3Gb and extracted .tar.MD5 is 2.11Gb.
Can Andrewtst confirm your extracted .tar file size pls?. 
Like u say could be an incomplete extraction. Will just put zip into Mobile Odin tonight & reflash.

The only file size i see is 2.11Gb ( the whole extracted .tar file ) & can be place in Modem#2.

already rooted (knox still 0x0 )so now i wanted to try flash the kernel via odin from here

using odin 3.04, the kernel and modem should be place under 'phone' or 'pda'?
im still not sure if flash kernel and modem via odin will trip the knox?? any idea??
i have searched around for the latest modem, i remember reading some member post stated getting good signal reception after flashing the uk firmware with its latest modem..
at my house only 1-2 signal bar only... damn.. (Maxis)

Really? As far as I remember, I never seen this message b4. In fact, my phone still less than 1 month, in case this is the 2nd alert. Ermm..

I myself ponder about the same thing when looking for the otterbox defender. I came to a conclusion (based from a friend who works in one of the lowyat shop) that lowyat prefer cheaper products. Anyway just my opinion.

Hi brol, i noticed Hong Kong version is MJ8. Is it stable to flash or u still prefer UK ROM which is MJ7?

Looking at you guys keep on flashing non stop makes me really itchy now

Cure that itch lo. 

Done updated to MJ7 and rooted. Knox still 0x0, i got no camera to show that now.
Steps i did
1) Download full firmware from sammobile (Hotfile is super slow. )
2) URDLV to get the patched system.img.ext4 and cache.img
3) Extract the original rom tar file
4) Delete aboot.mbn
5) Replace system.img.ext4 and cache.img (frankly i dun think cache.img is actually patched but oh well no harm just replacing it) with patched one
6) Repack to tar.md5 using cygwin cos i dun have linux. 
7) Flash with odin v3.09
8) Reroot using RDLV

Done.
