lucky today... phone nearly damage by idiot friend of mine. He just learn to root his Note2. Thinking he's pro already took my N3 while i'm busy and trying to root it.... Duhhhh...     lucky that another colleague realize it and took the phone...

how to tell.. my other colleague informed me that guy took my phone and do something. so i ask him what did he do? he said he's trying to root it but the other person took the phone first. it was still in download mode when she gave the phone back...

It's not a Note 3 problem, nor really an Android problem as has been explained.

It's a per-app thing where the dev has to implement a notification on the app icon. Some apps have this and some don't.

Hi guys, may i know, is there any apps that can prevent any apps from autostart, and after we start any apps, we also can prevent that specific apps to run on background automatically after we close that apps. I already use Gemini Apps but seems that the Gemini can disable the apps, not only prevent it from startup on boot    (or maybe i do not know the correct way to configure)

I just got my Note 3 yesterday and i having wifi obtaining ip address loop problem.

It shows "network disabled because internet connection is slow" after a few attemps.

I'm sorry if this question asked before. I have read the 1st page and seems nothing
pertaining this or perhaps i missed it.

I have searched around for fixes but to no avail.

I have tried alot diff settings in my tm unifi router too.

The phone is just out right from the box and running 4.3 jelly bean.

so my question is is this a hardware defect or software bug?

anyone had this problem before? sorry i'm new to android phone.

Actually i have tried all possibilities in the wifi advanced settings,

check and uncheck one by one, all combinations, factory reset, static ip, dns, re-add network, open wifi and so on.

the only fixes i didnt do are those required rooted device.

yup ~ i'm using unifi ~ i'm pretty familiar with my router settings ~ i don't see a prob in there and i also did a few adjustments in there. unlesss it is a firmware problem but my all other devices no prob connected to it.

i did a cold start too.

I saw one of a girl yesterday using her note 3 with glass sp. Her screen was so clear bright compared to mine which is using matte normal sp. Thinking of buying online but i dont think i can put it on myself perfectly without any dust trapped
