i more confused now.

using rdlv and urdlv, i need to flash mj7 the UK version or i need to get the mj1 firmware and reflash to make it vega version and then root?

my plan is;

1) root my mj1
2) install mop
3) flash mj7
4) root mj7

all this will no impact on my data, my data still intact.

so, all sifu out there, can someone advise what to go next?

Your steps are correct.

For 1, root with URDLV then the rest will follow.

a question , i m now on MJ1 rooted via RDLV ,can i directly flash official UK MJ7 through modin odin pro?

Ok MJ7 factory reset is safe. No trip on knox.

Yes you can flash directly via MobileOdin.

Yes, you can flash the firmware using MOP and retain the root. I did that yesterday and knox counter is still 0x0
