QUOTE(weryand @ Jan 6 2016, 01:07 AM) The SE846 thread would suggest Ted's Silver Litz Reference. But it's USD210 with turnover time about a month. Silver cables increase the high-end detail slightly. But Ted's cables are well-built and comfortable. If you wan value the FiiO cable is good too but I think it's SPC (silver-plated copper). Guys, where can I get decent 3.5mm connector jack? My Beyer DT231 Pro's connector seems to be faulty now, need to bend only got sound.
Btw, anyone here could recable my DT231Pro? Edit: just bought online from Element14 site. This post has been edited by kennethkee93: Feb 16 2016, 06:35 PM |

Whoa kimsim really awesome work there. Anyway I am abt to embark on my own little project. Just a quick question would it be OK if I put silicon on the soldered connector? Will if affect the performance much? I am planning to just silicon blast my cable connector to make it more durable.

Put silicon instead of solder?I think that not impossible way, easier put the wires out. If filling some gap with silicon maybe still be ok. |
