It wasn't removable?
I wanted to re-cable my Havi B3 to these as the stock cable is hardening and flaking.

But I got no skills.  unsure.gif
If only somebody is willing to help me do it.
There's disassembly tutorials on another forum, though.

Anyway solder it with new cable are easy job, but hard to remove out shell, can be easily spoil the speak, if accident touch to wires connected speaker parts, some more after open out the shell, there are not fitting as 100% already.

Can see these guy with original stock cable are flaking and lack coating on cable.

After swap cable and better look and easier used too.

But make sure you can live with the shell out of shape after fixed it back, due to my lack skills.

The good : enhanced sound quality and easy to used, solved tangled issue, better look like premium.
The bad: damaged the shall and looks.

Not so good with soldering.  ohmy.gif

Mine has a glass cover glued to the face & below that are screws, I think it should be less risky?

Whoa kimsim really awesome work there. Anyway I am abt to embark on my own little project. Just a quick question would it be OK if I put silicon on the soldered connector? Will if affect the performance much? I am planning to just silicon blast my cable connector to make it more durable.

Put silicon instead of solder?
I think that not impossible way, easier put the wires out.
If filling some gap with silicon maybe still be ok.

Very sad to be spoil my RHA 750, when during the cable repair, the spiker totally damaged sad.gif
Anyway learned from in an experience, next time never do with repair any RHA brands in future smile.gif
Bought it used $60 sgd, less than a night flying already laugh.gif

The shell are durable like a tank, just the cable very thinner wires, can be easily damage, if really accidentally pull it out
