Can we switch postpaid to umi38 prepaid while maintaining number? I'm currently on U28 thinking of getting UMI38 since my bill is around RM50 currently.

Around 50 can get u50 postpaid for 2gb 100 min to others and unlimited calls to umobile

What brand and model did you bought?

The spec should written somewhere in the manual inside the box or at least can get from internet.

Still trying to con ppl huh... either that, you urself were con by umobile.

I use Umobile and Umobile does provide a great service and value to people. but i don see why they need to con/mislead people.

They advertise/tell people it is unlimited calls, but if we read carefully it is actually 100minutes to other operator AND 30 Hours to Umobile only. If customer exceed these limits, they will be charged for excessive usage.
(its writen and hidden inside their contract)

DIGI offers 100 Hours calls in one of their post paid plans and they dint even try to cheat/trick customers by labeling/calling it "unlimited calls". (sry if compared you guys with another telco. but i felt Umobile was intentionally misleading people)

yup just updated it @ umobile FAQ, it is quite misleading, we have no idea how MCMC control about this slogan, and just fyi the SHARE LINE unable to enjoy the 1800 mins free call to umobile numbers.

basically, best of both worlds: benefits/freebies from Prepaid but payment (auto-reload) like a Postpaid

however, problem with Prepaid (along with other telco) is there is no way to reload directly from M2U online banking/CC without using reload voucher/softpin.

haha umobile can get from me for the direct reload lo but really hard for the AUTO-RELOAD like monthly automatic top up for u and charge ur credit card, can't imagine that way works on prepaid

yeah, probably a niche request anyway, but that's the only reason why i always been using Postpaid line, since day 1 getting mobile phone

current, the cheapest postpaid line is U28 with 1GB quota and 100+200 sms, dont mind payu for calls/sms/etc. umi28 is slightly better but that is for prepaid, and ayam effing lazy to reload every time validity near death

now umobile postpaid ebill is getting better, so i can monitor if they over-charged me. so far, always rm28/mo.

Theoretically can, but just worry that sometimes it just fail for auto renew haha
