Might as well get the Q950T if the price difference is only RM170. You can keep the rear speakers for next time if you ever have the chance to use them. Or could even sell them for much more than the price difference since Q900T or Q80R owners who wants to buy the rear speakers are limited to another model without Atmos.

correction. Q900t now my supplier says @ RM3450. 3680 old price. lol.

Just bought Q950T

Yesterday done all setup and all working good.

This morning I turned my router to begin use WPA3 security and it seems like this soundbar cannot connect to it.

But my NU8000 Samsung TV connect no issue

So I connect my soundbar to my guest network which is not WPA3/WPA2(AES) and it connected

However there’s one issue now which is when I turn on my TV, it will not trigger my soundbar to turn on >.<

Is it because both network not same?
TV: main network
Sound bar: guest network

I thought CEC or ARC will trigger?

Please check your CEC settings for all devices. Network settings or ARC not related. Some CEC may not support each other.

End up i think it's the "Smart hub feature" broken

I have to disable "launch the last app" feature.

If i turn off TV with YouTube app and turn on next, Youtube app will launch but it won't trigger the soundbar
I have to manual go to menu there switch >.<

Why q90r ? 950t not good enough?

But in my opinion. Q90r Dynamics is better than 950t. It's somehow feels more solid.

Not sure. I maybe wrong.

Seriously ? The latest Google Sabrina (Chromecast) can output dolby atmos?

QUOTE
As expected, it runs on a redesigned version of Android TV, while 4K is supported, along with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. Other possible specs include 8GB of onboard storage with 2GB of RAM, while you’ll get a remote with dedicated buttons for Netflix, YouTube, and Google Assistant.

Man, after bought Q950T, I’m really quite headache about it.

Been almost a week already but issue keeps happening.

Right now the only issue is the disconnection of the Subwoofer whenever i turn on my sound bar from standby.

Whenever i turn off (standby) my TV after one movie, the sound bar will turn off (standby), then subwoofer and rear goes into standby mode as well with RED LED behind showing.

Then next time when i turn on the TV > Soundbar turn on (finally solved) > Sub and rear back will turns blue

HOWEVER, there will be no sound from Sub and rear when i play a movie with 5.1 for example.
* I don’t have 7.1 or atmos device as of right now btw.

The LED of sub and rear is solid blue but it just doesnt produce sound.
Then i check with the pairing button of the 3 devices and only sub cannot do the pairing (meaning i hold for 5 seconds but it wont goes standby > blinking)
The 2 rears can blinking and ID set but again, no sound.

The whole mess will be connected once i unplug the power plug of the subwoofer and reconnect it.
THEN the whole system will be connected and sound produced as normal.
Hence, the issue is the subwoofer connection - i also checked samsung forum and this happen since Q90R series actually and not even solved until now.

Right now my solution is to disconnect the Subwoofer from powering up =.=

Anyone facing this issue? I saw some comments actually pin point to the 5GHz of WiFi router channel that mess up the frequency of the subwoofer.

Yea, using the auto link but still the sub is conflicting with my WiFi, need to do power cycle.

Later I might try move away my sub away from my router and see problem exist or not

Sigh, the sub really kinda disappointing on the wireless issue, always need a power cycle to become normal.

Else it will affect both rear speakers.

Probably try to reset your whole setup. No issues on mine although mine is the older Q90R model.

Sorry tumpang this thread a bit.

I'm now looking for a good sound bar after I bought 65inches Sony X90H TV. My choice are as below:

Samsung Q70T
LG SN9YG
Samsung Q800T
JBL 5.1
Sony Z9F
Yamaha YSP-2700

Please don't recommend Samsung Q80R or Q90R as no one is selling this model anymore in my area. The above are already filtered within my budget. Thanks a lot Sifu. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
