Few months ago was selling for 2.9-3.1k on Shopee/Lazada.

*edit* oops most places out of stock. Saw 2 on Lazada but going for 3.4k. You'll probably have to go around physical shops to find.

Is there a remote replacement for the Q80R with dedicated input button (ie. separate button for each input source) rather than one input button selector. Hate to keep pressing the input button to change input source.

Got my Q950T from TBC at RM 3790 on merdeka day ... XD

Honestly for watching movie, its quite impressing, but for Audio, it cannot even compete at all with my 4 years old LG 7.1 home theater.

But since moving in to condo, so a compact and wireless soundbar is needed. Anyway still a good buy huh... biggrin.gif

Does that LG soundbar in collaboration with Meridian? If yes, I wouldn't be surprised because Meridian is a high end British HiFi manufacturer so they would prioritize music over bang and slam.

Yeap... in terms of Audio quality soundbars can never match / equal a home theater system.. Ppl tend to go for soundbars due to space constraint and don't want too many wiring coming in and out... icon_rolleyes.gif

Sound bar is more of convenience and minimalistic.

If want proper hometheater best is still a avr dedicated subs and independent channels. Nothing beats it. But of course not those cheap skate system.

And hometheater can slowly upgrade . Sounds bar plug and play. Upgrade not quite possible. Maybe sonos can. But those price you pay. You get full set hometheater.

Anyone here got any feedback on the Sonos Arc? Reviews have been good but Sonos does tend to get a free ride from reviewers just by the virtue of their brand.

rtings rated lower than the Samsung Q90R n LG SL10YG/SN11RG

the Arc is having demo at harvey norman MV

I tested the full set sonos, SL10YG, Samsung Q950T, personally i like the Q950T, if u r seating in the sweet spot, very nice

i ended up buying the SL10YG due to budget, plus the having promo, giving out the rear speakers for free

editted: typo, changed to SL10YG

How are you liking the SL9YG so far? I personally have the SL8Y at the moment. Will likely be moving into a new bigger place so am thinking of upgrading to a more powerful soundbar.
