thats a good price. i think it comes with 2 yrs warranty standard? if not, recommend top up for extra warranty if you are going to pay that much

Audition both the Yamaha 209 and Q70R, not Q60R. Q70R sounds much better than the 209.

Ikat perut for 3 months, go for the Q70R, RM400 more. Use Shopee 12 months installment with Maybank card.

The q70 cost more rm400 more if I'm not mistaken.

I'm reluctant to take the q90 because of the rear speakers. I dont need additional wires running around.

I take a look at q70r or q80r.

I audition a few at Harvey Norman, Sen Heng and Bose. Bose sounds very nice but too pricey. Settle for Q80R and now waiting for the delivery. Q70R and Q80R big different in sound quality.

The main unit Q80R and Q90R is actually the same right? I read only difference is Q90R has rear speakers.

Q90R comes with rear speakers. Q80R comes without. Q90R rear speakers has up firing speakers but Q80R optional rear speakers without up firing speakers. Addition RM1200 for the rear speakers, too much to pay.

Everything else the same.

Guess the q80r got a simple and clean setup.
The q90r need additional power supply for the rear speaker? If it does require power then another hassle with the wire running down.

Collected my Q80R last saturday after waiting for almost 3 weeks. Paid under RM2,900. Have been enjoying it since. For those who are eyeing Q70R, my advise save up a bit more or "ikat perut" and go for the Q80R. The sound processing of the Q80R is much better that my Marantz SR5000 AVR HT 5.1.2 which made up of Wharfedale Diamond 9.5, Audio Pro sub when watching Netflix and Astro. Watching EPL and motorsport with Q80R brings out the atmosphere that you are there. However listening to Spotify and XiiaLive online radio, the HT sound marginally better than the Q80R. Watching DVD and blueray disc, sound super clear.

Do you have walls on both sides for the sound to reflect? I was thinking between q70r and q80r.. but my living room does not have a wall on one of the sides, so surround wouldn't really work I guess?

Found a seller offering rm3600 for Samsung Q90R. Just want to check if there's anyone out there encounter lower price than this?

I got mine at RM4199 (birthday month RM100 less) with 10% rebate store credit from SenQ.

Love the sound so far. Connected my pc to it playing atmos files from pc and netflix also can pass through atmos.

Yup. Outside is usually RM4299 to RM3999. RM4600 consider a good deal. Just checking if anyone know any better.haha
