We have this thread in the iPhone section. So was curios what casing are iPad / mini users are using.
Let's start the ball rolling. Here's mine at the moment. 
Custom skin from hydraskins plus ultra thin matte casing. Hoping to see someone shared his/her iPad/mini with aluminum bumper case.  |

Moshi Versacover Case -- probably the best case I've ever used for my iPad. I especially love the fact that it's slim and yet enable me to use my iPad in vertical mode, my main position for reading.

With back transparent plastic. I never held the original Moshi before but I felt mine was pretty solid and well built. If it's a knock off, I wouldn't care, cheap, folds very well and it's transparent back shows off the sexy back of my space grey ipad air. Some outlets have limited colors but I generally found purple, light blue, dark blue, light grey, pink. If they sell higher, discount until rm75.

Well... if u are happy with it, then no one can complain.. like i said, i used to use those cheap casing too, those selling around RM80 - RM150 depending on seller.. but I'm lucky cos as a seller, i can get most of those MIC case at dealer price around RM10 - RM30. Reason y i still ended up with premium cases is because after using for a while, those MIC cases really irritates me, magnet not strong anymore, keep opening the flip until my battery also flat, some even scratched my iPad mini..  ended up i getting another unit.. finally change to the current nuguard which give me a piece of mind.. that day my iPad mini drops on the toilet floor, if I'm still using my MIC case, probably i will need to get a new unit again.. |

I found this cheapo case from my store room which my wife bought for her iPad Mini 1. If i am not wrong, its only RM25.
It fit nicely for iPad Mini Retina. While waiting for my cases to arrive, i will live with this case

I just got my moshi versacover today. Not sure how it hold compare to my element case. No doubt protection wise, it still the best. Need to use my new moshi first before decide to sell. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks for your interest. |

Bought the iPad Air Back Cover from the garage seller https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=64792689 and the original Smart Cover. Perfect match! I can use it with & w/out the Smart Cover. Super slim and light. I'm loving it.

I've bought the fake Moshi for my iPad Air at LowYat Plaza and it gets dirty very easily. The origami flap cover will get flimsy in long run. Also, it won't stick to the back of the case when flipped behind. It's very slim and nice to hold. I like it a lot. There is one model by Mocran that looked exactly like the Moshi. It's call "PEEL". Only available in Harvey Norman. Selling at RM399 with 1 year additional device warranty. They don't sell the case alone. But with purchase of iPad Air only. I've tried it. And I can tell that it's better than Moshi. It's black in color and the material is superb. Rubber front and suede back when closed on the device's screen for better protection like the Smart Cover.

RM399 is becos, it includes the the extended warranty period by Harvey Norman. The case alone shouldn't cost that much. Just that, Mocran distributed solely to Harvey Norman as an exclusive item. If their customer who bought the iPad Air, they will insist them to buy this particular case that includes the extended warranty. I've tried asking Sunway Pyramid, 1Mont Kiara & Mid Valley to sell the case separately, but they won't want to sell it |

Aesthetic is number 1, ie must be pretty and elegant. Then must not be too expensive. The quality doesn't matter, I don't need to protect it again falling etc, just against table oil. However, the touch feel must also be good. |

hi all, for everyone of you who look for a good and legit case..
head to iStore @ Digital Mall... i bought a capdase ipad air casing with Dec promo... is kind of black leather/rear hard case at RM90... and bought a capdase clear sp there as well... find the case is really nice to hold although slightly heavy than the normal case... but i really love it ! they do carry belkin case as well... but hurry ya, stock is very limtied |

i think they should start showing the net weight of the casing in their product info, becos now weight is indeed an important factor in tablet, esp if u buy a heavy casing, it defeats the purpose of buying ipad air.

I think that the 3 fold Smart Cover is outdated and I will not buy them anymore personally. This because it offers 2 positions only i.e. Landscape for typing and landscape upright. It tips over very easily too in upright position even for the original Apple Smart Cover. Some more there is no portrait mode.
There is a lot of Smart Cover now that offers both portrait and landscape mode with multiple angle. They have really outsmart those originally design by Apple. What do you all think? |

i bought a simple thin back case by REMAX.. quite like it
it keep my ipmini thin while having enough back protection, elegant look, can see the ipmini back logo etc while for the front i have my diamond sp to rely on im not that into glass sp atm btw |

You can easily remove it I did on one of the china cheapo glass protector and replace with glass m on my iphone 4s. If didn't not remove properly, it may crack the glasses. |

Just some thoughts and questions I would like to share...
Actually, does all casing manufacturers actually print the actual weight of casing? I check most of the iPad Air casing in Machines...no weight of the casing is printed. I'm actually a bit anal on the weight of the casing, one of the factor of choosing a casing... and lesser weight would be more desirable, no? With the iPad air advertised about half a kilogram, slap on full covered, thick material casing and bam!, feels like a kilogram. But honestly (and unfortunately), I think Apple did a good job with their light weight, somewhat silicon material covered casing, I think the name is smartcover or smartcase...feels right, holds right and light weight. And Apple own accessories are pricy. Damn! But then again, if all manufacturer disclose their casing's weight, the selection scene will be different... |

Before this am using Switcheasy case, then got tired of it because too thick. Then am not using any case..naked. Easier for me when driving because in my car i used GripGo holder. But the naked one hard to hold cause my hand sweat easily. Using sticker for the sake of gripgo holder. Thinking of returning to naked once changed new tablet holder in car. I am new and newbie. My old account password can't be retrieve. Sigh.
