Just send in for repair, don't worry for warranty period end soon. If u send in last month of warranty, they will extend another 3 months period for u. refer to warranty statement of HTC

If repair more then three times, suggest u also filing yr case to tribunal claim

my suggestion still same:

1. send for repair
2. if already repair more then two times, still sent for repair and at the same time file yr case to tribunal claim.

Officially no more warranty as BL is unlock. You can always try your luck to claim and pray the tech does not boot into fastboot mode to check. My experience dealing with HTC, this is the first thing even the counter staff will do to determine whether phone has being tampered with.
However there are indeed cases with BL unlock, HTC still provide warranty if the tech deem is not due to BL being unlock. Such cases are rare

Okay.. so, there is no warranty already.. it's time to install custom ROM.. do u have any proper guide for me to install custom ROM? I'm not quite familiar with HTC phone..

Thinking of getting the red one....maybe will try the cam before paying ..

I tried in the shop, no problem, after back home, purple come & say "hi" to you. Go for a replacement unit which is red, got no problem, I scared already since the first silver unit brought me the purple tint issue, so I tested the red One for almost 1 hour+ just for the camera, place it on the table & yet it still showing full black. So the camera is perfect until a few weeks later, pink hue started to come out in dark condition. & after my hands itchy go for the 4.3 update since it keep on pop out the notification, the pink hue become more serious in low-light condition & at 1 of the side of the picture still present light purple color when I take photos in some low light area.

So you better don't buy this phone until it is 100% confirmed that this device already free from purple tint issue. It is a very great phone, I like it very much in term of the outlook design, Sense 5, sound, battery performance (before the update), & even the features & quality of the camera (before the stupid pink/purple hue come out). But now, what I can do just prevent take picture in low light/dark condition. Haha. Wish that it will having a trade in scheme during the release of One+/One2.

but for me i will say software because before 4.3 i dont have purple tint issue

I think the issue may due to both of the hardware & software. Because when the phone is cold the camera will be better than the phone in heat condition. Now what I can't stand for is 4.3 really consume battery much faster than 4.2. Now I have to charge twice a day. I see some users comment in youtube/gsmarena, their 4.4 update also quite buggy. Wish that when it reach our side it will be flawless. This is my first RM2k phone, & it is really disappointed me. The phone that I most satisfied is HTC Evo 3D which I owned before HTC One. I can't complaint anything beside the battery life of Evo 3D. Dropped a few times but yet the phone without any scratches although I didnt use any phone cover on it, very solid phone.

BTW, argh the agony of the KitKat when coming. In the back of my head, I just wanna see if the update will resolve the purple/green tint issue even tho I think it wont, but somehow just wanna see.

I just got purple tint for both red htc purchased on september,i bought from direct d for 2150 each any suggestion if tribunal so iclaim from direct d? Issit same pricre they refund first time buying htc than this happen

To install any custom rom. you must first have clockworkmod recovery installed. Than flashing any rom is dead easy
