I tried with family members sim card that are digi, friends sim card that are digi also can't work...  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif
Any advise is greatly appreciated...  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Probably your sim module is damaged. Have encountered such issue before on my previous Note where it works with all local telco ( maxis, digit, u mobile) except only Celcom. Try with another digi card to confirm is not simcard issue

You already changed your sensor?
Btw,Guys ..If i unlock bootloader and root my phone,Can i revert it to factory setting and lock my bootloader back so that i can claim warranty
*
If you unlock BL through htcdev even with lock back it will show as relocked in fastboot mode. Secondly your phone imei info is captured in htc servers. So pointless to even lock it back n unroot.
If you have done it through soff than is OK

Thanks
So if i am planning to send to warranty,Should i reset my device?
*
If your phone has BL unlock or rooted, the tech will first check its status by booting into fastboot mode. If you have done all these through SOFF - you are safe after you have unroot it. If you have done through HTCDev , there is no point even to unroot, lock back BL etc as said earlier on

Hmm. I'm not sure if I was lucky or anything. Mine was unlocked using htcdev. I s-offed using revone and removed tampered flag. S-on back and locked bootloader (not relock) and flashed the official ruu. If they wanted to void my warranty by saying I unlocked bootloader using htcdev they didn't do so.
*
That is because you fastboot mode showed locked and not relocked and I believe the tech was plain too lazy to check whether you have unlock BL previously through HTCDev
Anyway there are several cases reported at Butterfly, HOX thread where warranty is still honoured even with BL unlock and clearly shown in fastbooot mode. All this depends on service center discretion
I have successfully change mother board FOC once even with BL unlock ( GPS chip failure ) and another case where I need to pay RM700 to change motherboard for HTC One with BL unlock

You can try your luck claiming warranty

Is there such a thing ?? Accidentally shipped out with S-OFF ? Probably those initial units for developer only

You can use that token any number of times as it is tied down to your phone IMEI only

You can check youtube, pink spot was the most famous problem on sgs2 two years ago and confirmed camera defect. s3 and s4 samsung has fixed it permanently.

You look at todays decent phones, there is no such things anymore. htc one claims that their camera can take photo perfectly in low light. so i cannot accept this defect. we also paid most expensive phone and top awarded phone here.

If it is rm999, i dont really care pink spot or purple tint.
*
+1. This is obviously hardware issue considering the large number of users who have the camera module changed. Do not hesitate to claim warranty as it cost you rm2k n is not a small amount. HTC had obviously improved this in the HTC One Max as I couldn't detect such issues at all in it.

and you still want M8 tongue.gif
tht one will have new problems with lousy htc SC cant fix
*
Not necessary the M8 will faced similar issues as HTC1. Example my HTC One Max is nearly perfect 99.99% without those camera n build issues. I have given an allowance of 0.01% for possible problems or defects that might surface. Has been using this phone since 22nov n yet to find any problem .

Why don't you buy at Directd via postage? They sell at RM1699 last time I check. Their shop got a reputation.  drool.gif

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=517...elevant_count=1
*
I have deal with directd more than 10 times over the past 4 years. About half of them is through poslaju and after payment is made I always received the item the very next day.

I have been to their shop and each time it is full of customers ( probably is weekend ). However if you are looking for friendly service - just forget it. In fact I find many times the staffs are ill knowledge of what they are selling. So far I find only 2 of them I find are experienced and knowledgeable.

There are too many bad comments about them about poor service. Their business is so good, you need to wait and most of the time those staffs are not very helpful if you asked too many questions and I do observe some unhappiness from some of their customers. Anyway this is a good place to buy stuffs with decent pricing and I only recommend them if you know what you are buying especially with same gadgets with varying type of specs.

To date I have only send in a warranty claim for a Samsung Note ( AP set) and I got the unit back within 10 days. Sent in personally and he sent it back to me through poslaju. 80% of my stuffs I bought from them are AP sets and I do highly recommend them unless you are the type who wants good , smiling friendly service - than just forget about them

If i remember
U are one of the earliest to get htc one in this forum but u sold it quite fast
Why? Is it because of the gap?
*
At same time I have S4 ( LTE) which I preferred over it. The HTC1 strengths I found was only in its boom sound speakers. Overall in other aspects I find the S4 thrumps over it though many users here will not agree. I am not a fan of any phone and I pick what is best for my needs and then the S4 serves it better. Had never like HTC Sense n Blinkfeed o even touchwiz in S4 . Infact in my current HTC One Max i don't use it and replace it with Nova. When I sold off the phone I have yet to experienced the purple camera tint issues.
