3 months? Maybank LO 2 weeks!!! And show me the LO, terms n condition states 2 weeks. I asked for extend yet he seems not willing to. Hey wan my commission also don't need like that la.
My fren said normally can extend to a month at least.
Maybank kept on request alots doc where other banks just accept without askin much. Kinda mafan to apply Maybank.  Somemore it's Islamic Loan. Any problem with this?

last time mbb really suxx.... but recently, I hv applied 2 mbb loan, 3 days approved, of cos is beautiful profile, agent also got credit la. both Islamic too....
I hv asked many many ppl, up and low, many many feedback too... rclxub.gif
but simple say, Islamic entitle 20% dis on stamp duty..
and my case here, same prop dif unit with slightly dif price, 6k, mbb Islamic legal fee is 5800+ and pbb normal loan is 6800+
1st 500 lesser is the stamp duty, another 500 is bcos of mbb combine the what what power "ahtuneti file, so lawyer no need charge another 500 to prepare it...something like that..

Sorry bro, abit confusing on the Maybank Islamic loan.
Do you mean it's better to take the Maybank ISLAMic housing loan since it's 20% dis on stamp duty?

the main negativity to me is the lack of proper communication in a formal manner on the updates, and this is especially confusing for first time buyer i supposed. it definitely won't affect my view on the project as a whole, but it does makes me doubt the way their sales and marketing team, be it the agents or internal staff in managing the whole sales cycle in a more systematic and professional manner.

i'm choosing the mbb conventional loan cause i like the term better haha... reason being for choosing mbb is my salary is credited into mbb and it eases me for monthly payment.

this is one of the reply from fellow forumer on his clarification for islamic vs conventional loan, i think it is a good reference if you wanna know more:

Yea thanks for sharing.
Seems like it's safer to get conventional loan rather than Islamic.
Better dont take risk.
