really man, all these are included in the quotation alrdy, nothing more ... that's why i didn't think much and straight engage him.

another quote came back around 60k plus without tiles and wiring ...

Don't worry about it as long you have everything calculated. Renovation is a very interesting journey especially if this is your first project. Have fun! cool2.gif

Enjoy the journey. It will be stressful but results will make it worthwhile.
I was quite surprised to see hand drawn plans though even for cabinets.
Takes getting used to.
But as long as he is cheap and workmanship is ok , who cares.

aww.. was about to recommend u this one guy. a designer and contractor. handsome oso brows.gif

he did a job in villamas puchong for only 1 1/2 month. at first i thought the lady owner spent about 100k but i'm surprised she spent for only 60K ++ like that. owner said the guy worked based on her budget. she got everything she wanted, fully furnished some more..

keep us updated with your house progress. i'm sure mr francis will make a beautiful home for you and your future wife thumbup.gif

hahaha too late, but i didn't asked around anyways, meet him once then quote @ site, no need to think twice ...

but sometimes is like that ... they charged accordingly that's why project non stop coming in.

Why did d concerete table top was casted on d wall tile, not on d bare wall? Can it adhere well on d tiles top surface?

He's the designer & contractor, free hand if you don't mind, no fancy visual ... just bring paper for him to draw ...

i had this doubt earlier on, before the table top was casted, i saw a few empty small slots in between the tiles, later on only i realised it's for the table top as they insert iron beam into the empty slots and make it hold the foundation, therefore it will look more tidy as the wall tiles alrdy been laid initially and the amount of tiles are balanced off, iirc i think the iron beam itself is at least 15mm thick. there's also another 2 block of concrete drying off in the living room as well as and i think it's for the support of the table top as well.

yeah good combination, we didn't really pair ourselves, went to tile shop they alrdy have set combos hanging by the frame, just scroll and choose ... so easy
