Hi all,

any recommendation for honda city tyres?

175/55/R15 (if not mistaken ) blink.gif

budget around 200-250, more or less around there.

Went to Honda Service Center and they provide Continental, but not sure about the specific models.

I am looking for dry/wet capabilities, mostly driving around city and uphill

Thanks

current honda city or the gen before current one ?
if current gen then the tyre size were 185/60/15 can take on michelin xm2+ 225 per pcs , currently michelin were have promotion on balik kampung there's cash back on T&G e-wallet up to RM15 per tyres.
Previous gen were 175/65/15 that cost around 239 per pcs

it was hankook kinergy eco2 , i think this tyre was quite common in the market.
someone in bandar sunway area selling that size for 129MYR, you may look for Sheng Tyre bandar sunway

Have a place near me selling for RM123, seems like a decent tyre I guess? The place also offered Dunlop and Goodyear dp for slightly more but not sure if there really is a difference.

Just to update, i decide to go for Ipro since the price is really cheap for its performance.

Got it 159 at oscar tires klang.

Not sure if I wanted to go up to PS3 in the near future or not

How's the performance so far?

Depends. 175/70R13 are usually found for Saga/Axia, also previously Wira and Satri, so they have a lot of users. But from reading here, most of the people here don't usually use cars that are in the price range that uses 13"  sweat.gif

nope, cause most people would just upgrade their rim to a larger size so..... R13 is kind of hard to ask for an opinion, the smallest I ever drove was R14 and now it's R15

Amazingly, do we still have tires for R13 or even R12? Only Bridgestone Ecopia ep150 tires are still available for such rim sizes, and they are hard to find.

I have switched to using Continental CC7 for R14 size, though, since acquiring Bridgestone Ecopia ep150 was like waiting for the cows to come home. To manage tire warranties, the company even offers an app called Conti TCP... laugh.gif

WK 9 2023, the tires are so new. So far, I like CC7 because it is less noisy than the EP150 and works just as well in wet conditions.

Eh i thought CC7 just came out not long ago? if refer to the factsheet I'm not convinced lo, last time I use CC6 it does not do good in wet conditions...., but ya the noise...could not argue with that.

HI,

Am looking for 195/65/R15 for my Avanza, get quoted of below:

Prinx Thailand - Rm210
Dunlop j6 - Rm270
Joyroad Rx3 - Rm172
Continental CC6 - Rm278
Kapsen - Rm 136

Obviously I only aware of Dunlop and Continental.
The rest never heard before, any advise?

Yes, CC7 was launched in March 2023. It has excellent traction around road curves in both dry and wet situations. I simply managed to maintain a speed without putting any brake in a wet sharp corner around 80-100 km/h, as I did with the ep150. When I say wet, I mean a drizzle, not a downpour. Well, it is still brand new though so everything looks perfect to me (DOT WK9 2023 for 175/65/R14 082H)

Not too bad if u don't drive too fast , ie less than 120 km/h

I'm using Michelin PS3 tyres for my other car. Of course a lot of difference and "confidence" if compare with this ๐Ÿ˜‚

Hi, probably a noob question here. How often should I change tyre? Currently Iโ€™m using Hankook Kinergy Ex which was purchased early 2019 iinm. A few days ago, my car skidded, lost control and turned almost 180 degrees on the road due to heavy rain. Thankfully, nothing bad happened. I know itโ€™s not a good tyre for wet grip. The thread is still thick considering I drive less during MCO period last time. Should I consider changing tyres now? Iโ€™m considering the UC7. My car is 2012 Alza btw. Appreciate if you guy can advice me smile.gif
