it's quite decent on wet when it's new/slight new/used but now it's 1 year old+ 30k+- km.

PS31 is good at Dry until now however obviously it's not as good as PS3 / RE003 level for R15 much less semi slick.

Is Pirelli PZero a very good tyre? Any other recommendations?

For 195/55 R15, other than PS3 which is king of all-rounder.

Is there any tires that will perform better in the dry than PS3? How would RE004/Maxxis I victra pro compared with? I dont mind letting go some wet weather capability since I will be driving slowly during the rain.

I've tried both, PS3 & now Maxxis Victra I-Pro with the same sized tires.

Grip levels are comparable to PS3. The only downside are they are quite loud. Gets damn loud after 25k km.

In terms of mileage, I reckon you would not get more than 40k km out of this tire. Average would be 35k km if you're a spirited driver

Being loud is not a concern for me, how about wet weather performance for maxxis?

I am concern that the way I drive PS3 may not be able to take the heat hence if i am wondering if BS re004 or AD09 will perform better in the dry than PS3 at expense of wet weather performance?

Wet grip so far doesn't dissapoint. However, aquaplaning resistance is still not as good as PS3.

RE004 & AD09 main strong points were always on dry grip.

Seems like this would be suitable for my use since I dont really tekan during wet weather.

AD09 consider as street tire right and not semi slick kan? Read some review even that it does work well in the rain even though the thread had semi slick look.

One thing i noticed that RE004 tend to be cheaper than other similar type of tires

The main USP for Maxxis Victra I-Pro is that it is cheap for its performance.

195/55R15 is less than RM200 per piece

Since nobody answered, looked around and got
Kumho: RM135
Hankook: RM130
Continental: RM190.

I presume people in this thread are too rich to even bother with 13" 🤣

Uhhhhhhhhh I think it's more likely that it's such an uncommon size that most wouldn't know what to recommend????

Anyway found on mudah:

Viking CT6 - RM125
Dunlop SP Sport J6 - RM135

Depends. 175/70R13 are usually found for Saga/Axia, also previously Wira and Satri, so they have a lot of users. But from reading here, most of the people here don't usually use cars that are in the price range that uses 13" sweat.gif

Just changed 4pcs 195/55R15 TOYO CR1 today, in Bahau.
RM200 per donut.
RM800 include balancing, alignment, normal tire valves.

Other options :
Yokohama ES32 - RM210
Conti CC6 - RM210
Toyo TR1 - RM220
Hankook Kinergy - RM180

How's ur CR1 so far ? What's the price difference between TR1 and CR1 ? Would like to get a set of 195 60 r15 for my car also. I have ES323 on my another car, quite satisfied with it. Cuerrently come across with Dunlop SP Spprt J6 , seems not bad, even better than ES32 but with lower price ? Any idea ? biggrin.gif

Hi, my car is just an old junk with noise here and there, so it's really hard to judge any difference. I drive very slow too, so don't really have the chance to test dry/wet grip to its extreme. ES32 is a good tire too, you can use back if the shop has it.

TR1 is RM20 higher than CR1. Based on its tread pattern, it could be noisier than CR1, but with better grip performance.

Felt there my es32 tend to get punctured easily dunno why. Maybe because of the wide thread?

I'm looking for 195/55/15 tyres.
Been eye-ing on Maxxis Victra i-pro, suit my budget RM200 per piece.

Is there any other contender?
Handling dry and wet is important to me, noise doesn't matter (currently on Kumho V720)

not easy to find , bro
RM200 tires mostly are budget tire with moderate dry/wet performance.
