BTW any new owners please add yourselves via the form in post 4 ya. You are all welcome.

I've seen the Note 3 in the hands of a wide spectrum of the population (at least around KL).

Anyway, it was shared earlier to me by Superman7:

Google Taking Aim at Device Modders in Android 4.4 KitKat

Modding of devices will get increasingly difficult

Yes it works but i just dun see the point of using it.
What checkbox agree stuff?
*
Coz when the Location Settings are invoked, you need to click "Agree" to continue for the Google location stuff, and also the Location Services from Google Play Services has a checkbox to enable gapps to use.

*
Did you save the file? and the whole string must be exactly what they show you. And you need to add en_UK and/or en_US for the US and UK keyboards.

i did! after saved reopen and double checked too...

yes i tried only en_GB;en_US

did it worked for u?
*
Maybe you could paste your xml file contents or load it here.

QUOTE(WiLyi @ Nov 3 2013, 01:30 PM)
Don't worry as you are notthe only one..i suspect it could be caused by different csc used and the MW manager / wanam xposed / pen window manager modify our csc and break something in the process.

I have given up in trying as I can live without the sub symbol in the kb but not to give up wanam to mod my system ui..
*
I have Wanam but have disabled the subsymbol option in Wanam coz it doesn't work. I don't use MW or Pen window manager though.

i keep getting the prevention information notification. anyone know why it is like this and how to solve it?
*
I've gotten it too, I just checked the "Don't remind for 30 days" box.

You can root and freeze all Knox related stuff to stop it from showing.

A little OT but good to know:

'Ditch Microsoft Office or take a pay cut: Which would you choose?' - 2013-11-01
http://www.zdnet.com/ditch-microsoft-offic...ose-7000022348/

excerpt:
"The savings are mandatory, so it was either us or the proprietary software," said Erwin Pfeifer, not entirely joking. Pfeifer is a member of the autonomous province's IT department and one of the people managing the project.

......

"Unlike certain proprietary software licences where you rent a software package for a limited time, free software acquisition and customisation expenses can be capitalised and counted as assets," Dongilli said.

=============

Wow that can be capitalized....that's a good idea....

1 rooted.
1 not.
Waitin for the update for my unrooted
*
Well you should also know by now that Samsung does not release changelogs, and even for the Note 2, their later updates repartitioned the EFS partition and people had to find out the hard way.

Even for your unrooted device, just see what others are remarking before you click "Update Now".

Wish me luck....
*
Yes good luck then. Looks like the Vroot team are pretty competent. The XZU is also rooted with this tool.

Kingo Root or VRoot is too easier to use. I had use it previously in my Sony phone, it is simple as one button root, just I dislike they use their own supersu with extra feature add on, but it is simple to replace with chairfire supersu after root.
