QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Nov 5 2013, 10:54 PM) Oh I see. Thanks. This mobile odin is for KNOX trigger user, I think Chainfire don't care anymore and not going to prevent any KNOX thingy. Hehe! Yes coz the first download is some form of custom kernel that can control flashing. Sigh......

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 5 2013, 11:51 PM) Flashing UK DMJ6 now...via MobileOdin. **finger crossed..lolz** Added : Success without any hiccups Android is upgrading the apps now I was reading a little bit more on Knox...it should be an optional container @#%!$%@$#@$ but they need to ensure the entire chain of trust is trustable, that's why everything is locked down so every component can trust each other. Samsung should release a non-trusted ROM....

A camera comparison between Note 3 and Note 2 http://www.androidheadlines.com/2013/11/sa...a-shootout.htmlNice read, but I didn't know the sensor size was soooooo smalllll..... 1/3.06". The Nokia N8 was wayyy bigger at 1/1.83 (IIRC).

OIS and 16MP in next year's flagships... http://www.phonearena.com/news/Samsung-Gal...cameras_id49076Ah well, I wonder what more is whizz bang.....even if it's 64bits it will take till 2015-2016 before anything major can happen. And we will probably no longer need notebooks for any browsing and simple document creation. We already can do this now but I hope the experience will be easier down the road.

QUOTE(G K Lai @ Nov 6 2013, 10:33 AM) Hi all, My phone not rooted, all stock (Samsung experience, lol…!) and I did not install any new apps these few days, but today, it suddenly display the infamous "Prevention information" saying an app has been forced to stop…… What happen to my phone? Is that anything to do with Google Settings? I didn't install new app but last night only check out this little new icon in my app drawer. Please help and thank you very much! See post 9. There is no real solution to this for now.

QUOTE(881118 @ Nov 6 2013, 12:34 PM) any1 already fixed the unauthorized message? It pops up everytime I reconnect wifi "an application has been forced to stop for an unauthorized attempt to access sytem in your device" Post 9. No fix yet. QUOTE(sheraton @ Nov 6 2013, 12:54 PM) Hi guys, I'm looking for a power bank for my note 3. Will those ordinary power bank with 1A output too slow to charge the note 3? Coz the original charger has 2A output which can full charge my phone within 2 hours. Get a good one with at least 1.5a output. Most current ones do that. Buy from a reputable vendor/outlet.

QUOTE(WiLyi @ Nov 6 2013, 01:42 PM) Yet to be verified but according to some readings in XDA, that is the humidity and temperature sensor for S Health. If you look clearly, the size of that hole is slightly larger that the 2 mics at the top and bottom of the phone QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Nov 6 2013, 01:54 PM) Ya. Much bigger. Maybe it's not mic but others. I just find the manual online, never mention that is mic but not mention is what also. The teardown video in post 9 has the guy explaining almost all parts and I was surprised to see that large round block on the left corner of the mainboard is the vibration motor. You guys may listen a little closely to see if he mentions where the right corner hole leads to.

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Nov 6 2013, 02:59 PM) U forgot 1 thing bro . 0.4mm thickness , most manufacturer refer to glass thickness . There are additional layers 2 add in so total , for most Glass SP , it's around 0.5-0.6mm thick. Brando for example is 0.2mm glass thickness but actual thickness is 0.48mm , almost 0.5mm . The difference between a cheap n expensive Glass SP is the additional layer . The thinner is it , the pricier . Sounds just like an advertisement for a slimming program

QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Nov 6 2013, 03:16 PM) hmm, joytest, how's your explosion proof glass holding up in the aspects of oleophobicity, hydrophobicity, smoothness, ease to clean screen of smudge, ease of smudge and dust along the corners? I'm fine with mine, I just wipe it every few days. I don't have OCD. I guess it looks like an 0.5mm thick slab and it's still fine. I suggest people look at a ruler with 1mm markings and see whether they can distinguish 1mm and 0.5mm.

QUOTE(timw90 @ Nov 6 2013, 03:47 PM) @joytest do you recommend glass SP over normal SP? still on the fence here :S I won't make any recommendations, but personally I prefer glass. FYI mine is a cheapo glass sp meant for the Note 2, but it just fits enough to cover the viewable screen area.

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Nov 6 2013, 04:14 PM) Somebody needs to come up with a matte glass protector. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Nov 6 2013, 04:25 PM) Most ppl go for matte to avoid fingerprints . Glass SP is good enough to be finger print proof . v10 coming, around 6pm thereabouts. Will provide link but I know you eagle eyed folks are already circling to get pertamax.
Do know that you should not post "gratz v10" or "pertamax" posts. I know mods overlook the less active threads for this, but they don't give this thread any slack.
