It means you can ask someone to collect for you, with a written letter/proof that you'd authorized him to collect for you. I think one of the local couriers, DHL or some other (I forgot  sweat.gif ) offers to do that for a charge of rm50 i think.

Okay.. If i were to go and take myself ?.. They might ask me to open the parcel ? the figure is cast-offable and it wont be known until i take the figure out directly so its just bikini sonico if i open the parcel .. Do you think it will be okay ? lOl hmm.gif

It still definitely sucks to have something held by customs although not taxed, that you have to pay more to have it collected for you or drive by yourself to go get it when you already paid for the shipping costs.

But normally, i would advise against having any shipping of your beloved figures done in December itself, even if it was shipped on 1st december, unless you have no choice because your stuff was released during that period, except if you are using EMS - the most expensive variants where priority is higher (but also means you are more likely to get taxed if you exceed Rm 500). The volume of packages are so high in December (xmas rush) that your parcel, especially SAL, has the potential to be delayed or held by customs for weeks, since they lack manpower and EMS/any express services get the priority. My friend even experienced one of his stuff going MIA in the past during this period.

Yeah i realized that .. learnt my lessons .. i been thinking why this happened must be cause xmas and new year is coming and customs and cops want to eat money .. rclxms.gif But i use EMS though

I don't think they'll ask you take the figure out directly, just to show them the box perhaps. Maybe they won't even ask to to open anything, just hand you the box without explaining why it got held. sweat.gif Anyway, no NSFW illustrations on the box right? Just bikini pictures should be fine. smile.gif

Usually it's okay. There will be partially opaque plastic sheets stuffed between her bikini and her body (but vthat's to prevent paint transfer), i can assure you that. And perhaps, in case anything happens, let them know you are a toy collector (you are not planning to sell it), show them photos of your stuff or your room in your phone. They suuaally will let your stuff go.

Sure kena detain, but they will also release it faster if it wont be taxed (under rm500), because they are high priority unlike SAl, they make you slow slow wait.

That SoniComi is an Orchid Seed figure right? If yes, they will most likely stuff something between castoff-able parts to prevent paint transfer in case the paint did not dry completely (rarely, if ever, happens, given their strict QC).

It's because of the timing of your parcel, so close to Xmas. Ppl at kastam want to make money hoping it exceeds 500 bucks so that they can tax it. Many ppl like to do online shopping for xmas gifts during this period.

BTW, I bought a PVC Figure from Fantasy Toys today. They claim it's original because they had a handwritten sticker on there saying "Original". I took it and inspected it for the longest time, looking for sticker of authentication, quality, etc. lol. Asked the lady whether can open or not, I said "What's up with the hand, is it defective or something?" because the figure comes with a replaceable hand holding a sword and I honestly didn't know. The guy opened it up and the base was missing! WTF. He went inside the storage and took another one out, opened it and it had the base. SOLD! biggrin.gif I bought this guy -> http://myfigurecollection.net/item/379 Never even seen him once on the preowned market. He's such a cool figure! biggrin.gif

Within the first 30 mins or an hour the doors opened, the GSC booth, the wonfes exclusive items section is already almost empty. You tell me, you pissed or not? whistling.gif

ARRGGHH , Yeah !! Now I remember!! My little bro was kinda saddened that day he didn't manage to get that nendoroid which GSC booth was selling that day. doh.gif As a businessman I can see him seeing this as an opportuinity but dam ...Thats cruel!! Hopefully , next time if got something like this again hope that GSC will limit the amount of purchase u can buy , like 3 unit per customer max. But keeping track is another problem as ppl are cunning..Urrrgghhh..
