It means you can ask someone to collect for you, with a written letter/proof that you'd authorized him to collect for you. I think one of the local couriers, DHL or some other (I forgot  ) offers to do that for a charge of rm50 i think.

It still definitely sucks to have something held by customs although not taxed, that you have to pay more to have it collected for you or drive by yourself to go get it when you already paid for the shipping costs.

But normally, i would advise against having any shipping of your beloved figures done in December itself, even if it was shipped on 1st december, unless you have no choice because your stuff was released during that period, except if you are using EMS - the most expensive variants where priority is higher (but also means you are more likely to get taxed if you exceed Rm 500). The volume of packages are so high in December (xmas rush) that your parcel, especially SAL, has the potential to be delayed or held by customs for weeks, since they lack manpower and EMS/any express services get the priority. My friend even experienced one of his stuff going MIA in the past during this period.

Year-end + EMS shipping = sure kena detained.

Usually it's okay. There will be partially opaque plastic sheets stuffed between her bikini and her body (but vthat's to prevent paint transfer), i can assure you that. And perhaps, in case anything happens, let them know you are a toy collector (you are not planning to sell it), show them photos of your stuff or your room in your phone. They suuaally will let your stuff go.
Sure kena detain, but they will also release it faster if it wont be taxed (under 500).

No stuff coz 1st time collect.  Sad case if like that.

BTW, I bought a PVC Figure from Fantasy Toys today. They claim it's original because they had a handwritten sticker on there saying "Original". I took it and inspected it for the longest time, looking for sticker of authentication, quality, etc. lol. Asked the lady whether can open or not, I said "What's up with the hand, is it defective or something?" because the figure comes with a replaceable hand holding a sword and I honestly didn't know. The guy opened it up and the base was missing! WTF. He went inside the storage and took another one out, opened it and it had the base. SOLD! Because they were on stealth ninja mode... some dude from AF Hobby went to AFA MY last year, go to GSC booth, loot everything they were sellling because they are cheap, take it back to his shop and sell higher price. Within the first 30 mins or an hour the doors opened, the GSC booth, the wonfes exclusive items section is already almost empty. You tell me, you pissed or not?
