Well, from what i heard, this year M'sia no AFA because they ruin the event by selling bootlegs everywhere. You know, Japanese companies actually com over, and artistes performs in concerts and stuff, so, the reputation and the prestige of the event goes all the way down the drain if they make another AFA again here. I was like, Padan Muka. If no one supported bootleg products, no one will sell them. Supply & demand.

I'd rather spend on a flight ticket down to AFA S'pore next year. This year, my AFA SG plans bombed because i spent my money i saved on a DSLR. At least nest year im guaranteed to be able to get some high quality photos of lolies, cleavages, nice Zettai Ryouiki thighs... And even if M'sia had AFA, they will put it at a stupid date - right in the mid year when most uni and college students will be having their final exams during that period.

At least least yrs in AFA, it was so nice to see the figure qualities ensured, no problem if I walk up and buy any.

Here, "cheapest option is best option" mentality for society.
Until you actually buy something yourself and appreciate it, our country will always be stuck with this bootleg stigma.

CF 2013 this week might have much bootleg?
i only know TFM which might selling genuine figure, thinking to hunt for some nice figure. So far i only interest on figures selling in CF, is it worth rm20 and long queue just for figure?

xl-shop promotion is just the same every year, near christmas or cny...last time i brought from them is at year 2011. for fantasy toy at lowyat plaza, one thg inside sure original are gundam, other japanese pvc or figure are 99% bootleg, the sega prize figure should be ori one, although it look the same as bootleg.

This year i alrdy saw two gsc booth either at malaysia or singapore, if included the one at cf then should be the third time i saw gsc booth...most of them selling nendoroid, figma, and some gsc pvc which are release at this year.

i regret that i can say not worth if just for figure...if for doujin, yes.

Thanks for the advice, then maybe all cost might be paid for looking cosplay

It means you can ask someone to collect for you, with a written letter/proof that you'd authorized him to collect for you. I think one of the local couriers, DHL or some other (I forgot ) offers to do that for a charge of rm50 i think.

It still definitely sucks to have something held by customs although not taxed, that you have to pay more to have it collected for you or drive by yourself to go get it when you already paid for the shipping costs.

But normally, i would advise against having any shipping of your beloved figures done in December itself, even if it was shipped on 1st december, unless you have no choice because your stuff was released during that period, except if you are using EMS - the most expensive variants where priority is higher (but also means you are more likely to get taxed if you exceed Rm 500). The volume of packages are so high in December (xmas rush) that your parcel, especially SAL, has the potential to be delayed or held by customs for weeks, since they lack manpower and EMS/any express services get the priority. My friend even experienced one of his stuff going MIA in the past during this period.
