Is there any other cards that can provide unlimited cash back beside OCBC bank?

Hong Leong Essential (Annual Fee Waiver subject to 12x Swipes a Year)
*1% Unlimited CashBack (Cash-Back is Subject to Min. Retail Spend of Rm100/Month + NO Rebate given on Petrol)
*Low Cash Advance Fee of 2% (Others CC- 5%), Which's Good on Emergency Cash Urgently Needed  icon_idea.gif
*Low Cash Advance Interest Rate at 10.8% p.a (Others- 18% p.a), as I think So far is the Lowest Rate Among All the Banks in Malaysia
*
Retail spending is inclusive of
- paying for TM
- Paying for TNB
- Paying for waterbills?

Yes...those spendings qualify for cashback. Only petrol trnx doesn't.

I read at the terms and condition for the OCBC Titanium 1% unlimited cash back.

It says that it is strictly for personal use only.

So... If I got a company, and I use my credit card to pay my company utilities bills, then I am not entitled for cash rebate?

can, no problem...

Maybe that amount you are paying is little.

Let's say I open a small iron smelting plant.. Electricity will be anyway like RM50k a month.
So use cash back card to pay, and get 1% rebate from it every month? If that is the recurrent event, will the bank do something on it? Like cancel my cash rebate?

1% cash rebate, That is a good handsome RM500.. Not big not small, but is good to makan also

if pay for tnb why not just use mbb2 amex? (i assume you have the card)

you get 5x treatspoints so that is valued at above 1%, you can exchange for vouchers
*
But I want cash, not points.

But I think Maybank Visa Signature can convert 250 points to RM1 directly..

So I must pay during weekend? Lol

Maybank2kard give you a lot of points..but cash back option is limitee to weekend and got capping.

looking at my usage, a straight cash back without barriers is the best choice..
So shud be only ocbc and hlb essential

Well, treatspoints is not cash but is 2x the value (each treatspoints effectively 0.4 sen). Redeemable as cash at a variety of places via vouchers or direct exchange etc.

For your huge bill, you can buy your next phone/laptop easily using treatspoints, no need to look at exchange for small small RM50 vouchers.
Even if credit limit not sufficient normally can pre-pay. Still gain relative to paying directly.
*
I can't be claiming laptop every month right? Haha

Direct cash back is the best.. Straight to the account..

Wanna ask about this RHB Platinum Business Card.

It is mentioned in the website that

- Cash rebate of 1% for retail charges (except for Petrol, Government, Cash Advance & Charity transactions).

Question No.1 - So this is unlimited cash back? Earn 1% cash back for every single RM spent through the card?

Question No.2 - What does it means by Government? Does TNB bills, TM bills, phone bills falls under government category?

1. Yes unlimited expect for the stated items.
2. Refers to council bills...cukai pintu, tanah, etc.
TNB, TM, phones are not.

Thanks for your clarification.

I came across these terms and condition in the RHB Platinum Business as well

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing
clauses in these Terms and Conditions, if any one or
more of the following shall occur:

3.1 The Cardmember abuses the Programme
in any manner whatsoever; or

3.2 The Cardmember commits any fraud or
misrepresents any information supplied or to be
supplied by the Cardmember

Then RHB Bank shall be entitled to revoke all
rights accorded to the Cardmember under the
Card

What do they refer when they say abuse the program?
What kind of action will be considered as abuse?

Above age of 18, can pledge FD for CC.. doesn't care wad is ur job or student or whatever

as long as you are not blacklist, you can pledge fd for a CC. No need to show any form of income.

you pledge 5k, your CC got 5k limit.

You sure or not? Even before BNM ruling in 2011 that one needs to have minimum annual income of RM24K, all credit cards issuers only issue Principal card to those above 21 years old. But supplementary cards can be issued to those above 18 years old.
*
Ooo.. sorry. Mistaken age. Is 21, 18 is supp card.

Maybank 2 card can accept FD as collateral, min 5k.. Pbbank also can.
hong leong 10k min.

Not every utilities accept credit card payment via each bank's respective eBanking platform.
Read the fine print in your ebanking system and your respective utility bills - there's an indication to where and when credit card payment is accepted.
*
Hm.. i just want to confirm tat it is the whole hong leong bank ebanking platform, and not just me alone suffering.. haha.

well if tat is true, tat is very lousy of hong leong ebanking platform.. considering that this is considered a big bank in malaysia.. but facilities is not so big after all...

i had checked.. rhb mbb and pbb online ebanking platform enable me to select tnb syabas and many more other vendor for credit card payment..

Looks like those hong leong bank wise card with rebate option on utilities selection will sound stupid.. u need to pay at kiosk.. waste of time n petrol n parking and all the hassle..

as suggested above, those with hlb wise is using uob payonline for its free service to pay utilities.

ok..

lets say i pay using hong leong bank credit card thru this payonline channel..

how fast will the amount be reflected in the credit card?

Let's say i need to pay 5k amount of bills. But my card limit is only 3k..
If instant reflection of amount, I can clear the 3k, and make the limit available again, and then pay the remaining 2k.

If it doesn't reflect immediately, means i need to pay the next day..

Tat is fairly long also considering most merchant or retail outlet do their credit card batch run every night at 12am
