I'm wondering, if we download the MJ3 ROM from Vega and the matching of our CSC, will it trip the Knox counter?

Picture does not always tell the truth. You just need go to ebay and see many of such "S View" flip cases really cheap at US$5 -US$10 and most will show the same pic ( a sticker anyway) . Some of the sellers are honest enough to say the standard S View features will not work . Anyway his back case does not have any of the 2 connectors , so I don't think you will have S View functionality
The seller should test himself and tell the potential buyer about this issue first or buyers will be misled

After more readings in XDA, it seems some region can flash MJ3 with the correct CSC without tripping the Knox while some will doh.gif

My theory is these europe MJ3 firmware going to disable region lock code inside the euro phone's bootloader but since it cant find it inside other region phone thats why it will tripped the knox trigger. Just my theory.

My guess is that there's an incremental counter that prevents the phone from retrying to sustain a data connection in order to save battery.

Just go to airplane and back when you leave that area.

It won't work at all, as the whole S View functions is control by that two pins inside.

Even I like it, but for that price, I will said not worth to get.

No Smart Watch is worth to get for the moment, wait next year, let Smart Watch be much more matured.

Ok after some test the s view bypassing the sim lock with cover closed. It happen when you installed xposed framework apk.
Without that stock rooted or stock no such problem.

Mine has no such issue at all. I restart phone with cover closed and immediately could see the 3g data on at boot up.
