I'm wondering, if we download the MJ3 ROM from Vega and the matching of our CSC, will it trip the Knox counter?

QUOTE(Xirality @ Oct 21 2013, 12:30 PM) Picture does not always tell the truth. You just need go to ebay and see many of such "S View" flip cases really cheap at US$5 -US$10 and most will show the same pic ( a sticker anyway) . Some of the sellers are honest enough to say the standard S View features will not work . Anyway his back case does not have any of the 2 connectors , so I don't think you will have S View functionalityThe seller should test himself and tell the potential buyer about this issue first or buyers will be misled This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 21 2013, 12:44 PM |

QUOTE(WiLyi @ Oct 21 2013, 12:49 PM) After more readings in XDA, it seems some region can flash MJ3 with the correct CSC without tripping the Knox while some will My theory is these europe MJ3 firmware going to disable region lock code inside the euro phone's bootloader but since it cant find it inside other region phone thats why it will tripped the knox trigger. Just my theory. |

QUOTE(WiLyi @ Oct 21 2013, 12:01 PM) Did you restart your phone with the S View cover being closed? I have this issue where if I restart my phone with the S View cover closed, I won't have my data connection. It's only if I restart my phone without the S View cover being closed, data connection is fine upon full boot up. Mine totally okay. No problem. |

QUOTE(skumaran24 @ Oct 21 2013, 11:44 AM) Hello Guys, It happens to me if i'm in an area with a weak signal (no bars) for long periods.Another Note 3 user here. Glad to join the club. Been reading some issue posted by some user regarding mobile data sleep mode. I have a different issue not sure how many facing this issue. My mobile data connection is suddenly lost even if its switched on. Turning on and off the mobile data does not fix the issue, resting APN does not fix the issue. The only fix is to either restart the phone or toggle on and off the airplane mode. I'm on Maxis. Anyone else facing this issue.? My guess is that there's an incremental counter that prevents the phone from retrying to sustain a data connection in order to save battery. Just go to airplane and back when you leave that area. |

Makes sense to me, because it was obvious when I was traveling from Taiping to KL yesterday. My guess is that there's an incremental counter that prevents the phone from retrying to sustain a data connection in order to save battery. Just go to airplane and back when you leave that area. |
