They have a due date on every termination case, ask them when is your due and they will probably call on that day.
I believe they have no free time to handle mass termination.. doh.gif

For my due date cancellation is 26 Feb but until now still not yet receive the call!!!

anyone managed to call and talk to the stanchart cs? seems like they have upgraded their self-service menu and keep asking and saying my 6-digit pin is wrong! i am stuck at the menu! can't talk to a human!

managed to get a human to talk to finally...
they said that my cancellation is still in progress!
i said that has been more than 5-7 working days as promised earlier!
they said that the retention team is calling back based on first-in-first-out basis.
i said that means there are so many users cancelling stanchart cc recently??!!

i just email thru the internet banking and its cancel without any call back all my 4 cards

haha maybe they wan to retain u, for me they just cancel all from total of 6 cards tongue.gif
then again the 1st 2 cards they did call back last yr and i also gave the same reply as their card are not attractive anymore and they give up doin so for the subsequent cards being canceled

Tell them your cards lost and don't wan the replacement and hence cancel all the cards for you.. thumbup.gif

but if they still not cancel it while i totally forget about it... suddenly after few years later i got many late charges and finance charges due to the interest came from the gst. doh.gif

I think it's better to wait the retention dept to call you, the GST will not charge to the cards as you have request to cancel the card, this is what they told me previously. No harm to wait and don't have to waste time to call them.

they called back back when i submit the request to cancel thru the scb online banking page. Got a call after 2 weeks from Price Solution.
They only offered to offset it after I PAY the GST first. So i turned down the request and received an sms confirmation the next day.

card lost is not good ideas as they will charge the processing fees....
unless the card is damaged such as chip faulty

Price solution called me yesterday to confirm with me of 3 cards cancellation without any cashback. So, i just cancelled.

Still have 4 cards to go and 5 cards by my wife.
